It was an honor to discover your closet and be able to share it! About your dad, I'm glad to hear he is better. Strangely enough, I am a physical therapist so if there's anything I can help you with regarding your dad, please let me know. Parkinson's disease alone can be very challenging for a patient and family, and to have dementia with that adds even more. That's just what I see from the outside so I can only imagine how it is to have a loved one, especially our own patent, with the conditions. I'm sending hugs and prayers for you and your family. I'm here if there's anything I can do remotely from TX❤️❤️❤️.

rmccoutureThat's so kind of you to offer. Thank you Pinky! Actually, the dementia is a gift for my father; he goes off to a place where he is happy. While it is true that every day he is leaving us more and more, for me, at least, I would rather that he not know the frustration that so many other Parkinson's patients suffer with. I'd rather that he detach from reality, even if it is hard on me, than to have it be any harder on him. When he is wherever he goes, he's content, and that is what I wish most for all of those I love. God bless you! I am sure that you help so many people; not only physically, but emotionally, mentally and spiritually with your positive attitude and tremendous heart. I truly feel blessed to have had an opportunity to "meet" you in this way. Sweet dreams beauty... 💖Amanda

My name is Amanda, and you chose the Napier gold necklace in my closet as one of your host pics tonight. First off, I want to tell you that if I could shop in your closet, I would be all over it all of the time! It's fantastic; beautiful items, beautiful cover shots, beautifully described... They're just amazing. Secondly, I want to thank you for choosing my necklace tonight. I'm sitting next to my father in the hospital. He's going to be okay, just to put your kind heart at ease! He contracted a virus in the beginning of the week, and while most people would just take antibiotics at home, he has Parkinson's, and when he gets ill, his muscles get so weak that he loses the ability to walk. We are now in the rehab part of the hospital. I'm here because another side effect of the Parkinson's is Dementia. He is not so far gone that he doesn't know who I am, (although he did look at me and ask me if I was Abraham Lincoln the other night, which I thought was pretty funny!) but being in the hospital exacerbates his confusion, and having family around him helps to keep him calm, and helps the nurses as well. Needless to say, I have not been able to posh the way I usually do, and I was really surprised, and very touched by your decision to choose something from my closet tonight. It meant a lot more to me than you could have possibly known, and I just wanted to share my gratitude in a more private way. I'm not really a cut and paste type of thank you person anyway, but, well, this one was really special. Thanks so much. Your children are more beautiful than your closet, by the way! Sending tremendous amounts of gratitude, love and light your way! ❤️‍❤️‍❤️‍❤️‍Amanda
