I love these boots! I have them in two other colors. I've worn these once or twice, but they're in excellent shape. The leather was intentionally distressed by the maker, so it's nearly impossible to jack them up. They do lace but also have side zips, and I use those to put them on/take them off. One tiny issue: The laces are weirdly stiff--but since I use the zipper, I never swapped them out.

@tissue I just put the right one on for you, and they don't seem narrow to me. And you can adjust their width to a point with the laces. The price tag is still inside the boot, though, and I paid 130 bucks for these! Jesus. Ha!

@tissue I think they're in between the two. I can wear socks and still fit into them (I usually wear an 8.5, but about 25% of the time, I have to buy a 9), but I think they'd be a little short for a true 9. So I'll say they're a roomy 8.5.

@laurenjanet I think they run a little small. The nice thing is they lace up, so you can adjust them slightly. But I think they're more 8.5 than 9, honestly.

@laurenjanet It happens! I think it's hormonal. Mine got bigger after I had my son, then smaller again thru my late 40s (hence all the size 8s I'm selling) then bigger again. It's really annoying.

I haven't had children...my feet are getting bigger, and my boobs are getting smaller. Ugh! No fair!.....mayybeeeee I'm finally not in denial, and am old enough to wear shoes that fit. ..hm

I have some of my dad's wood shoe thingies - got a pair of grey Luichini riding boots, they're the most amazing boots ever, & they were too small, so he smashed those in there and left them for awhile, & it totally worked! I didn't even prep them first w/ a shoe conditioner or alcohol or anything. And they have turned out to be my most favorite pair. ... I need to get them resoled, actually. Wore them soles right off them galdern sh*+ kickers!

They're one of those things I'll obsess and obsess about until i have them. I love the color and everything....And then I'll be over it. ...except if they're like my Luichini's....which I even wear in the summer. How's your weather? It was 115° yesterday. I don't even want to check today. BTW, I would want no one else to have the pearls more than my Posh mommy. :-)

Yes she do need my great granny's pearls. And i need dem boots. I got a suede taupe pair...slouchy cowgirl boots, but the heel is just a little too high. I need flats. Me back just can't take it. It's not worth the pain. I can accept it.
