@leilagares : It's actually huge that I'm finally at the phase where I'm going every day (after a year & a 1/2). What's I'm doing is "work conditioning" so it's more like a 3 hour workout than pt in the traditional sense. That's why I'm so flippin' tired! Lol!😉

Seeing your cute lil' face reminds me that I've forgotten to mail something to you...three days in a row!!!😕I picked up Eb's new meds from the compound pharmacy & it's supposed to be chicken flavored, but must be nasty...she made this face😖!! Worse than bubblegum flavor!! Lol! Poor baby, can't get a break.

@abstractdreams I saw you mentioned the compound pharmacy, I was going to ask, what bug did they determine she has? I had to get meds from the compound pharmacy for Maggie, it was liver flavor, but it went into her e-tube, so she didn't actually taste it!

@veronikoti : I can't remember now what he said she has...but the drug of choice only came in pill form, so I knew I wanted to have it made into liquid form if that was possible, to make it as easy as possible on her. The compound pharmacy is about 30 minutes away, but there's a great whole food (not Whole Foods) mkt right near them, so I took advantage of that while I was there.👍🏽

@abstractdreams You're a great mom to Eb, driving to get her meds liquified! have a friend who loves his pets, but when he found out we spent close to $8K on Maggie's treatment, he was flabbergasted and said he debated euthanizing his dog bc of a $1500 potential bill (his wife didn't let him)! Anyways, mine are like my kids, so whatever is necessary within reason! It was the nights in vet ICU that cost so much (nearly $1K/night).

@veronikoti : Thank you hon.💋I may have told you...my neighbor & I were talking about the expense of 4 days in the vet hospital & she said "They live short, very good lives. You can't afford a that kind of vet bill!"😳I was stunned. I'm very frugal in most things. But not with food or my children (2 & 4 legged)! We probably won't be friends!!👎🏽Lol!!

@abstractdreams I'm the same way! Our health (human and feline) and our food are 2 things I/we will spend 💰 on. A close friend of mine has no kids either, and her 3 cats and dog are her kids. Her dog has a knee problem, and she takes him to the dog chiropractor, and he has PT every week, either swimming or the water treadmill. Her husband can get annoyed by how much attention they get!

@veronikoti : Husbands. Don't get me started. Lol! I've never been hurt or betrayed by an animal!!💕The same cannot be said for men. Eb's had three doses of this antibiotic & her appetite's decreased & she's thrown up twice. I'm starting to worry. If I need to drive her to the vet every day for an injectable drug...you know I will.

@veronikoti : I'm hoping for one still, but at only 6#, she can't afford to lose any more weight. I did some research, the injectable's only approved for dogs. But my fridge's starting to fill up with meds that we can't use!😕

I have a pair of the red-striped colorful Airwalk loafer sneakers and they are really comfortable! But I don't have arch issues and they are pretty flat so you may need some kind of insole for them if that's an issue. I love your closet by the way!
