@jteach23 yes silly girls don't understand the concept of free market or how much it takes to sell on posh? they don't appreciate the time it takes to source, take pics and list and share all day to make one sale. on top of that posh takes 20%. so I make very little considering my time and effort and yet they still are being rude when they have no clue about the costs or process.

@bellanblue yes dear, I will modify it. Not going to copy your effort just like that. But it's like all the points together BAM... Lol. I had this lady who bought brand new pajamas and other stuff bundle for $10 (already low balled) and when she received them she gave me a 2 star because they fit her loose. I even offered to go through posh to settle it but she just blocked me. That's is my only low rating and I feel so bad about not being able do anything.

Great advice. I know I'm tired of people using name brands and descriptions such as "leather" when it's NOT leather and not an authentic product of the name brands. Those words mean something. I appreciate when descriptions and photos are clear--just like yours.

So sorry to hear about that. I've noticed the rudeness comes in spurts. I had a Posher just this week tag me in a listing that she made in her closet. She went on to call me a scammer, scum and the "C" word. I usually just ignore comments but when you start using foul language, I will report you.@bellanblue

I tagged in a couple of the Posh Support team as she was ranting and calling me the "C" word and within minutes her closet was shut down. Afterwards, I Blocked her, reported her to Posh Support and she is now totally shut down. It's easy to hide behind a name and/or iphone & computer and be rude to others. Again, I'm sorry you had to deal with a bad situation but keep moving forward and keep being your sweet self. @bellanblue You are an amazing Posher with a great closet!

Ughhhh can I please use this? I swear! I put up so munch info to have buyers make an informed purchase but I swear majority don't read a thing and then try to use that as an excuse when rating. Love this! I agree with you- some don't understand all the time and effort it takes to curate our closets regardless of where we get our items from. And even if you can buy the item yourself from a different site or store- we provide the service of it being on Poshmark where you can sell your items and use the credit towards something else! Try to take your Posh credits to Gap and see what they say... Or try to "make an offer" at Louis Vuitton! Lol

I think I'm going to drop a note into the PoshM suggestion box that they implement a Seller reviews Buyers feature.

I had a comment the other day about a pair of nikes. First off nikes aren't cheap and the gal told me that she could get them for 50% off what I had them listed. I was like RUDE. lol I feel like great if you think you can find them cheaper somewhere else then be my guess and congrats you just got blocked from my closet for harassment. bahahahahaha

I so agree with this Jen! 👆👍 people need a posh etiquette lesson lately! I sold a dress gave exact measurements and bc didn't fit her, she gave me 1 star and how is that fair?! Once a girl gave me two stars and said she LOVED the item but it was over her budget?! No help from posh with the ratings, all they say is poshers get to make the rating based on their purchase experience. It's frustrating because I can't control someone's budget or if things will fit buyers 😰😁

I was a buyer before I was a seller & saw appalling behavior in some buyers! Worse than lowballing, they shriek about buying elsewhere cheaper? Seriously? Then move on! I got 4 star ratings from a chick claiming my Coach package wasn't rec'd; until I sent a video to Posh. Mad cuz she got caught--SMH Signs work!!

@bellanblue funny thing is that I wrap all my items with tissue paper and gift bag and thank you card. All my buyers love that and she said I need to improve 😃 yeah it sucks because now I have that low rating :( I almost feel like sending her a money order for what she paid and let her keep the item.

She's only been on here a month selling used swimwear and stating on her header that she's a suggested user. Some people😁 thanks for writing this! We all need this in our closets.

I absolutely love this listing! It's to the point and very well said. Most of us are usually selling out of our own closets and describe the item as well as we can. I have received some items that did not fit me but were exactly as described. Sizes will vary with designers. I resold them. Also I agree, comments made about prices are a waste of everyone's time. If you find it somewhere else for less buy it there. Again, love this listing. As usual it's very well said. 💕😘💕

Yes! Some people are only on here to buy and they don't realize they are hurting our reputation! I once got "could improve cleanliness" she said the shirt smelled of smoke. I do not smoke nor does anyone in my house so I don't understand that. Also if it doesn't fit them the way they wanted they give you like 3 stars. Not fair! @bellanblue

Accept purchase once received is the biggest problem I'm seeing. You shouldn't have to constantly nag a person. You want to get paid just like them I mean I understand you at work but when you take your time and making them wait that's not right. I always accept mines and I expect others to do....treat people how you want to be treated.

This is absolutely perfect!! Nothing worse than someone giving a 2 stars because the color of blue was a different shade then they were thinking....how in the world am I suppose to know what color of blue u are thinking about?? Very well said!! I had 46 5* "love notes" then a buyer gave me a 1 rating saying" this small is very, very large." It was a designer top that I sold at a low ball price...so I'm thinking "why didn't she just reposh and try to make some money on it?" Rather than damage my rating. Whew!! This is great! I've met the best people! A few exceptions. If someone blames a seller for their budget or fit etc. that is silly and others see that. Do you know if we can refuse to sell to someone? I had a bad feeling about someone. I was right! She tore a grommet on a Brand New PINK Hoodie. I made it clear it ran very very small. It resold right away but she said items not as described. Your right about things taking a long time!

I'd be crushed if I got a bad rating. We work so hard! People can see the remarks and that someone is being negative. The one gave her 2 stars for going over her budget. Others can and do see that. I've read negative reviews and can tell when it's a person you can't please!!

I want to say thank you for all your shares and Posh Love❤️ I remembered seeing this post in your closet and came to read it again and the comments after dealing with a growing amount of ladies without manners. I blocked the user that harassed you. I had an urge to list all the users I blocked so other sellers can avoid them but thought it would scare buyers away. Really hope we can have a way to help each other to avoid drama and waste of time.

I love this! I had a seller tell me some1 her I sold items I got from her she said she didn't care that once someone bought they can do what they want with it. I spend @least 12 hr/ day here & am trying to making a living but I've charged $3.5k on credit card buying not all can be kept &bundles I bought from that lady were $100 & over $200! Another called me a liar/thief/scammer cuz I listed 2 items i got from her! & I spent over $300 w/ her! if you don't want my business fine with me

Posh is a totally different place now. I get offers 20% of my listed price or worse, people getting hostile because I won't accept offline purchases, holding things then asking for discounts. The worst, I had to return my first purchase. The item was supposedly new, it wasn't and had paint down one arm. Extremely bad quality or I would've kept it. The seller called me stupid, fat, dumb, etc. I was floored. After that, I'm really debating. As well as my health declining.

Excellent posts! If you don't mind, I think I will also create something SIMILAR in my closet when I have the time! I am baffled at how nasty some people are on Poshmark FOR NO REASON. It's almost as if they have nothing better to do than to cause drama or make themselves feel better by being nasty to someone else!

@bellanblue i can relate 2 u and other poshers i have had a few rude ones or asking me 2 lower prices then i do and the dont buy it or hold it never come back at times i just wanna close my closet cause i get so much stress and little money i share so many closets and at times not even a thank u nor even share ny closet it really bothers me

I'm so glad I saw this post.... I was feeling quite discouraged when a suggested user commented on one of my items "you are marking this up 😡". I spend a lot of time researching sales and curating my closet to what I feel people are looking for, sharing closets, and packaging orders. Is it not okay to sell items bought from flash sales? I've read about other poshers having much success by doing this and would appreciate any feedback!
