I'd snag it myself, but I have a hat just like this. 😃 Not a Kaminski, but vintage. I have two Kaminskis, though - love 'em. Wish I could afford Eugenia Kim and Borsalino right now! 😟 Have you seen Janessa Leoné hats? I haven't seen them in person, but the website looks droolicious.

Oh, I appreciate it, but seriously, the one I own is almost identical. Not Kaminski quality, but still quite good. ☺ Leoné is a fairly new designer - I stumbled onto her pieces by accident online. Eric Javits is also good - you see a lot of those at Nordstrom and Neimans.

@singaporejones I understand. Wow, you know your hat designers and the quality of hats. I have to do more homework on the hat industry. However, I'm a hat lady, I wear them almost daily. Different styles & colors, I absolutely adore them. Actually, I was turn on to Helen Kaminski hats about 6-7 years at a small boutique in Chicago. I have at least a dozen of Helen Kaminski hats, mostly Fall season ones. I'll be posting more hats in my closet throughout the year. Thx a bunch for sharing.

Wow! I don't have nearly that many... but I don't wear them daily either. Thanks for the compliment on designer knowledge; women in my family are a bit fetishist when it comes to craftsmanship. My grandmother used to make her own suits and shopped at Neimans. She, Mom, and I all prefer to buy quality that will last (even outlast us) as long as we want to enjoy the clothing item. They're not as much into hats, but I love vintage and have a soft spot for the 40s look complete with hat and gloves.

I don't wear that look too often - it's just not practical, plus I live in Texas - but admire its together yet feminine look. And I got back into hats a couple years ago when they started making a real comeback on more fad-driven sites, so there was more call for mid-range hat designers like Brixton to distribute more widely, and for reliable brands like J. Crew to offer their own designs. Then I started trolling eBay and etsy for vintage fedoras and such, and now I'm addicted. 😃

So I'll look forward to seeing more of your collection. 😊 I'm picky about which styles I buy - I tend toward both fixed and floppier fedoras (not trilbys, which look awful on me), newsboys, drover styles and berets - but I'll never turn down eye candy and will be happy to share further listings, since there's a pretty good hat crowd on Posh. 😃 Pleasure to "meet" you electronically!
