sincerelyposhp@celia08 no, this is not a sterling silver piece, all the .925 sterling pieces in my closet will say so in the title. Also, I never recommend that you wear any jewelry in the shower real or fake, it destroys the integrity of the jewelry no matter how precious the metal. Lastly, if your finger has turned green in the past it is probably because you have a mild metal allergy so fashion jewelry isn't for you. I send care instructions with every piece and polishing cloth too.
