My mom handmade me this dress for a safari-themed birthday party. I wish it still fit me! Worn only once, with a pleated waist, halter neck, and zipper up the left side. 100% cotton giraffe print. She put a lot of time and effort into this dress! The pockets are super deep (my phone is not nearly touching the bottom in the picture!) I hope this can go to a great home!

sleepiegirl @karenjbenskin unfortunately this hasn't fit me in 3-4 years. I'll post the measurements in a few minutes. the whole bodice (front and back) is a double layer of cotton. you could definitely get away without a bra.

sleepiegirl Flat across bodice (under bust) is 15 1/4" waist (narrowest part) is about 14" underarm to hem is 27" skirt is 30" across at the bottom if this fit me I would say is would hit about 6" above the knee. I'm 5'8- 5'9. I'll see if I can find a photo of me wearing it when I was 16!

sleepiegirl @karenjbenskin I don't think I'm willing to go that low. I just price dropped this from $36 yesterday. it's handmade and posh takes 20% of the price which seems like a lot.

sleepiegirl @karenjbenskin so sorry I didn't get back to you yesterday! I am unfortunately not willing to go lower on this handmade piece. when I wore this I was 16 and a 34B. the fabric is 100% cotton and doesn't have a whole lot of give. I'm not sure it would fit a cup much bigger than a B.

ellejayz Hi Rachel :) If I were you (and I am not) I'd keep the dress...at least for now. It sounds like it has sentimental value since your Mom handmade it for your 16th b-day party. You may regret selling it & you can't put a price tag on such a special item. You can always sell at a later time if you so decide to and I definitely wouldn't sell it for the few dollars to be gained from it. No-one else is going to put a fraction of the value you have for it. Think down the road. Keep it, Elle ♡

sleepiegirl @ellejayz I’m 25 now and as much as I love this dress, it just plain doesn’t fit. Those comments are from a couple Halloween’s ago and if you’d like to make an offer I’m open to going lower than I was when I originally listed it!
