lalageh @lisabeez yes it is amethyst , it could be due to the lighting of the pic. This DY ring is authenticated I can assure u:) and the reason why I am selling it is because I don't fancy the ring anymore, I kind of got tired of it ! I prefer my DY bracelets more ☺️
