If you're getting involved with parties, AWESOME! a great thing to do, in light of upcoming parties is to click into each host's closet and find her PARTY POST; trust me, she'll have one 😉🎉. Do you have a "tag list" saved in your iDevice's notes? You should: a list of 5-10 or more ppl you share with, your favorite closets, some other new members would be great.

You will have access to her last 1,000 followers..... That's a good start :) --- also, share randomly out of the main feed... jnc650 @korrie I definitely recommend adding more photos for each shot- for each item I take a picture of the front, back, size tag, and material tag. Adding measurements is a huge help as well

phillyfinds Quick question on offers: if you want to counter-offer with an explanation, what's the most appropriate place to do that? I just got an offer on a piece where I'd lowered the price only two days prior. It was 20% off asking, which would've been fine if I hadn't just lowered the price. Decide how many items you require-2?3?4?- and select the percentage off you'll give buyers for total purchase. That said 😀, I have an up-to-75% off Sale going on. Then you sign up to share on days you are avail ;("Sign up by 1:00, and share by midnight," for example.) You run through amd share a given # of items, for ea. posher signed up.... ️LMK if u want more info... 🙋

qelegance Hi Kristen, I'm relatively new to PM (since the GMA segment) & I'm loving it. The most welcoming online community I've ever been a part of. My question relates to how to manage the positioning of items in the closet without over saturating followers. I've sent PM a note & realize there is no solution yet but wondering how users do it. At the same time, make certain that Posh Support knows your true feelings on this--often times, dishonest buyers will say this if an item simply doesn't FIT--very sad... And totally unethical. I've seen your quality of product. Be courteous, and many many suggested users and great sellers have been way-laid by the same .... It hurts, but remain confident!!

kb2008 @cyndy860 (contd) So, I recommend creating a separate listing by taking a screenshot of your item's pics and lusting at a high price, like $1000, etc. Then tagging your buyer "... @me, your listing is ready" .... Once, a buyer likes your new listing, you can lower to your agreed price, she'll get a notification, and tada! She'll have one hour to buy at lowered shipping. You can get pretty fast at this 💗👍🏼

kb2008 @sjmoon2008 :: good morning, sandy--yes :-) you will get a notification.... A Poshmark Editor Pick is rare. This comes directly from Poshmark. It's chosen from the sharing feed in general. The editor hops on and sees something amazing and shares it; you are notified.

kpawsrn I lost my job as a nurse out of nowhere, BUT feel it's a blessing because I am happier now and it feels so right! So I had to downsize quite a bit and have a ridiculous amount of boxes organized with new or slightly used things to sell. I also want to make sure I am following the rules, and I don't know the best way to word my listings. So I am all for any constructive criticism/recommendations! Look at upcoming parties; you get invites from Staff -- then send Congrats to the Hosts/Hostesses, asking them to peek at your closet :-)) You have mostly kids' things, so you'd want to seek out a party fitting your theme and vice versa 👍🏽👍🏽💛 Cheers!!!

But to answer your question, here, IN ORDER TO GAIN MORE FOLLOWERS, I recommend 1.) choosing an active suggested user--Someone you see a lot of around Posh, and "unfollow" then "follow" her. This puts your name in her most recent 1,000 followers.

kb2008 @lisacastellanos : Hi Lisa! Welcome to Poshmark! Yes, so I peeked into your closet and you have some great things to sell. You want to place a pricepoint on each item that is fair and will bring YOU some earnings! :) To make $10 on an item, it will need to be priced at $13 (so that Posh makes their commission and you bet the rest👍🏽), and so on.

Now, in order to have your a listing considered for a host pick, look into an invitation, see who's hosting and tag them in one if your listings that matches the Party Theme. ("Hi, @lisacastellanos! The hosts share these and it's cool to have an item in your closet chosen ... that's all. You can share every item in your closet to the party once, of course ~ 🎀
