kleineente @tjj2320 This was purchased at Cartier in Germany in 1999. I believe I still have the original certificate, but if not can take it to the Cartier store in NYC to get them to certify it and give a new certificate.

kleineente @tjj2320 I spoke to a woman at Cartier. She said that I could bring all of my items in to their service center and I can get copies of letters from them stating value, etc. Since I have quite a few pieces, I'm just going to take everything in. Better to have anyway for insurance purposes. If you're still interested, once I have everything, I can post pics of it and of course send with the item when someone buys it.

kleineente @jessicabonheur I honestly don't know. I bought it in the late 90's when I was living in Europe. I have been planning a trip to Cartier with my various pieces to get them refurbished and to beg them to resize my Tank ring. I will ask then and also ask for appraisal letters for the sale and also for the pieces I'm keeping as I recently found out my homeowners insurance needs them.

kleineente @maxxarson12 The only thing I'm really looking for is a specific Chanel bag. But I guess you could call it vintage. I bought it at Cartier in early 1999 or possibly 1998. I still have the original box and screwdriver. I will also happily take it to Cartier to be fully refurbished for whomever buys it. And will send along all the paperwork with it. I checked your closet. Sadly, I don't wear 17 anymore. That's one of the reasons I'm parting with this. I need at least a 19 or 20 these days. :(

BTW, do you know if I can get them to resize my tank ring? I really don't want to part with it, but it's just too small now. It was tight when I bought it, so absolutely impossible now unless I wear it on my pinky.

kleineente @chiromichelle I don't have my original certificate, but was told by Cartier that I can get an appraisal letter for insurance purposes from the Cartier store in Europe where I bought it. I don't recall what I paid for it at the time, but the price I have here is the going rate. Please feel free to make an offer if you would like.

kleineente @narkay They quoted me $200 for polishing and rhodium. It should come back looking almost new according to the lady I dealt with at Cartier.
