Free shipping is available during special promotional periods offered by PM when you reduce the cost of your list by 10% (and total is $10 or more). I suggest doing those price reductions during peek hours!! Otherwise, you can reduce the cost of the item your selling by $5. I only recommend doing this on an order of $25 or more😊

theposhypeacock @bbwss No you dont need a promotion, but you must remember sellers only make 80% or less on a sale. So if they reduce the price to compensate for shipping, that is money taken from the price they are asking. For example, a $5 item cannot have free shipping, because the seller only makes $3.05 on that sell. If they gave free shipping posh will not allow the sale because the minimum sale price is $3.

theposhypeacock @bbwss You cannot do it on a $5 item, as posh will not allow you to sell an item under $3. Example: ITEM $5 minus POSH FEE $2.95 = $3.05 (if u do free shipping it would be less than $3(POSH MINIMUM) and the seller would make $0)

theposhypeacock @bbwss That is correct, during promotions offered by posh. From a buyer, it is up to them if they choose to do a discount to cover shipping. You will still pay shipping but the discount makes up for the difference.

theposhypeacock @bbwss its a figure of speech when the free shipping is offered by a seller. They are subtracting the cost of shipping from your total price which is the same as paying shipping for you. Shipping is not charged by the seller, it is charged by Posh. And occasionally you will find a seller who will give the discount to compensate for the shipping fee.

I do know there is a price scale which shows shipping fees based on % of the discount. It is in the Posh Blog, i will look for it and get back with you😊

shoppinggirl66 Hi Melisa-thanks so much for your kindness and support! I am getting the hang of it and hope one day to have a host pick, mentor others-it's a lot of fun too! One thing I am struggling with is getting photos! We are in temporary quarters until our house is finished in late September-it's small space with bad lighting. Looking forward to the move in and getting all my stuff back out of storage! For now I am learning as much as I can. Any pointers on better photos is much appreciated!! Thanks!!💕💕

theposhypeacock @shoppinggirl66 I can definitely relate, Maggie 😋 Just looking at your closet, your cover shots are fabulous!!! I use a few collage apps to create borders and multiple pics in one pic. My favorites are instacollage and Your Moments. They are free apps and really add a little character to your pics. I always try to take my indoor pics when it's bright out and open my blinds. This helps some, but outdoor pics I find are always the best😋

theposhypeacock @lizhardy Yes, liz, every evening there is a virtual party!! Each night has a new theme with different hosts. Joining these parties and sharing items that go along with the theme helps give your closet exposure. When a host chooses one of your items it is not only seen by your followers, but by every posh member who joins the party!!! This means more closet traffic which equals more sales😊

theposhypeacock @nemas Hi Noa, most items that are new with tags (name brand) are ordered wholesale. Which requires a license. But, when building your closet, the most important thing to do is get your closet noticed!! This requires followers, follow everyone you can and share 3-5 of their listings. Most will share back if your closet follows all posh rules. This will increase the # of people who see your closet. Also, your covershots are very important. Good clear pics and get creative with it😀

I share my closet at least 2X's a day. This will help bring more potential buyers to your closet!! Also, insure your closet is posh compliant... No mens, children, household items, perfumes, etc. women's fashion and accessories only. Join the nightly parties and share your listings that fit the theme of the night!

theposhypeacock @addiexoxos I'm so happy to hear you got a Host Pick😊😊 Starting out is slow, just be patient and persistent!! Be very strategic with your price drops... Make sure you do them when posh is the busiest(30 min before a party), you have 5 or more likes on the item, and see when the poshers that liked the item was last active(2 or more in the last hour) Then make your price drop. This is the method to my madness, anyway. It is always slow sales in August with Back to school😉

I normally go to my home page and click "CATEGORY" Then choose a category and share each available listing. I do this for each category until I've shared my whole closet. Hopefully they will come up with an update to make the process easier😋

theposhypeacock @alstubbs98 Hi Amanda, great question😃 It is simple, but can become time consuming. Step 1 create a "sold beyond this point" listing. Step 2 share evey item you have listed, excluding sold items. This will bring For sale items up and push sold items down. The order in which u share your listings is the order they will appear in your closet. Then every time you make a sale share your Sold beyond this point listing 1st, then all available listings.

And once we get approval i can get you set up with a mentor if u would like. Until then, check out the poshmark blog online. It has much more info and tips. Just google search poshmark blog and it will come up. They also have a newsletter u can sign up for😃
