@stefinski The closest Birk store to me said starting 2016 they won't be making their shoes in a 35 anymore...I really hope they are wrong :( I know some of the styles I like already don't come in a 35 : / Having small feet is a pain when it comes to shoe shoppin' ;)

So when I bought mine I learned that in some of them we can actually wear a 36 in. So in regulars I need a 35, but in the narrow versions I need a 36

@stefinski The smallest size the Messinas come in is a 36 but I was able to order them in a narrow and they fit pretty good...Just a tiny bit long! So I know what you mean :)

@krizzoshelton I wear size 5-6 in all my shoes depending on fit and brand! The length of a 5 is usually better for my feet but ocassionally I'll find a 6 that fits! Sometimes I will size up to a 6 for more width because a 5 can feel too narrow!

@krizzoshelton In all Birkenstocks I wear a 35 regular and that is the perfect fit for me :) A size 36 is okay in the width but I have a lot of room in front of my toes and behind my heel and I don't feel like I can walk comfortably...Like I will catch the toe of the shoes while I'm walking! Girrrl, I know! I actually have Mayari's but they are so comfy I won't ever sell them ha-ha! I got mine off Amazon from Germany, but I didn't see any available. You can get them off ebay for about $70 including shipping!

@123flor On Posh, when you are looking for an item to buy, you make an ISO or "in search of" =) This is mine for the Birkenstock Mayaris in leather and size 35!! @smadams It's tough for us little footed ladies, huh ;) It's hard to find a 5 and sometimes even a 6 in shoes I like and now we can't find Birks in 35 either!! =( If you look up Footwise online, I recently contacted their store in Corvallis, OR and they custom made me a pair of Mayari's in the habana brown color in size 35 :0) It was an extra $30 custom fee but I recently got them in the mail and they are perfect!!!

I'm curious if that actually works for fitting a smaller foot or not. Probably worth the extra money for the custom make. Birks last forever, so it's just an investment, right? ;)

@smadams ♥♥♥ No way! Are you an Oregon girl too =) I'm way down in the southern part of the state!! There's a footwise in Portland and Hood River too but I think it's the Corvallis store that does the custom orders if I remember right... Also, they take 15% off your purchases in your birthday month ;) Makes the $30 custom charge a little better!!

@smadams I did try a 36 narrow but it still wasn't small enough for me especially the length : / A regular 35 is what I've found is best for me but in the store you can try them on =) When I talked to them they had a 35 narrow Mayari in silver available and I believe they were on sale too but not sure if they have now sold! Yes I wear my Birks all the time so it was a worthwhile investment for the right fit :0)

@beckysss I'm the same way! I only like leather birks too :0) I found the ones on the bay! I see they are papillo by birkenstock...All the shoes with that name fits me even larger than the original birkenstock so I think I will be sized out... A 35 in papillon fits me like a 36 in the birks =(

I wear a 5/6 in shoes depending the brand and find size 35 the best fit for my feet in all Birkenstocks :0) I've tried to make a size 36 work but they are way too big! If you get a chance try a size 36 on, you will know if they are the right fit for you! Have a nice day ♡

Not sure if anyone else has told you this but, I actually called Birkenstock this morning because I desperately want a pair of Mayari in the oiled leather. The tobacco is GORGEOUS! I was told they do not make the limited edition oiled leather in a 35. BUMMER! I told the rep that I’ve seen tons of people searching for 35s and to please pass on my disappointment. 😐
