annegagnon2 @ssong18 Aww you're too kind 😘 Yes. I run 3 times a week and on those cardio days I also do a combination of about 200 lunges, squats, side kicks, high kicks etc. basically any workout to work my legs and but. On the other 2 days I do abs & arms. I also eat very clean 80% of the time and then cheat the other 20% 🙈

annegagnon2 @ssong18 Ha! You're not being nosey 😊 Yes, my genes definitely play a part. My legs are a spinning image of my moms and my dad is turning 70 this month but doesn't look a day over 50, so that helps. With that said I still have to work for it. Anyone can be out of shape with or without good genes.

annegagnon2 @ssong18 My advice would be to start slow. Cardio is key for me, so just start running 2 times a week and just run as far as you can and then stop. I am big on doing what feels good, otherwise you will hate working out. After a few weeks you will be running more and further. Do the same with food. Start by cutting out processed sugars 2 days a week and before you know it you will be seeing results and will want to eat better and workout more 😉😘

annegagnon2 @ssong18 I am a vegetarian too! And have been for over 10 years. Although I am only 27 I have already started to see the affects of my metabolism slowing down. When I gain a few pounds after a vacation or weekend visiting my mom (lol) I do a fruit cleanse and feel great after! Don't feel discouraged though. Just get into a routine that you enjoy and before you know it you will be looking how you want!! I am glad I could help 😊😘

I am a very clean eater also, but I have never enjoyed working out to that extent. It really is work. naomipearl @annegagnon2 I want your legs 😩 My legs are always the hardest to keep lean and tone! I saw you posted a brief list of the leg exercises you do. Do you use light weights high reps? annegagnon2 @naomipearl Thx for your lovely comment! You're also gorgeous! I never use weights when doing legs as added weight will make them bulky. 4 months ago I started boxing 3x a week. Boxing workouts are great b/c boxers can't be too muscular. Before I boxing I ran and did different variations of lunges & squats. Try youtubing different leg exercises to get some ideas. It's hard work that keeps your body toned. There are no shortcuts or tricks. I wish you the best!
