Would soap and water improve the look or are all those on top of shoe and shaft all scuff marks? I'm quite interested. Can you take another picture, more closed up please.
Sep 03Reply

bribunz
@myghiaccio Yes and no to be honest. I can clean them up a bit and take closer pictures so you can tell what's what.
Sep 03Reply

bribunz
@myghiaccio I uploaded another picture. I just finished wiping them down a bit (without soap).
Sep 04Reply

myghiaccio
Thanks for new pic. I'm still concerned about the chalky/grey coloration. Could be expected of the rubber material. I'll place an offer.
Sep 04Reply

bribunz
@myghiaccio if you're concerned about what the Hunter company calls "blooming" (white marks) you can purchase the buffer or shine products they sell and it should come right off. 😊 I'm considering buying some for my next pair.

i am very interested in your shoes:) i find there is something white on your shoes, could it be wash away?
Sep 08Reply

Great to hear! @luyao0504 please refer to my 4th picture listed to answer your question. 😊

@megsierra size 6 is a bit tight for me, which is why I'm looking for a 7. But I'm definitely going to think about it! The color is so pretty.

I looked on hunters website and I couldn't find any that said "huntress" on the front like the ones you are selling..
Oct 12Reply

bribunz
@emily_wiegandd the description is from their website. You can see the url on top of the picture.

Hey I'm really interested but I have a question before I get them... My calf is 17" do you think I'll fit in it? Thank you
Oct 13Reply

bribunz
@paomichelle91 I'll take some measurements when I get home from work later this evening for you sweetie. 😊
Oct 13Reply

paomichelle91
Awesome thank you!

Hey there-Are these authentic or a replica? I've been looking to buy the Hunter "Huntress" style boots for a long time since I have large calves. 😀 Like others, I've never seen the style name shown on the front of these boots before either. The style name & description is correct since it's from their website but I can't find this exact boot anywhere. Thanks!
Oct 13Reply

bribunz
@trinnylee have you tried typing "Huntress" in the search bar on the Hunter site? That's how I found them. I hope that helps!
Oct 14Reply

bribunz
@paomichelle91 I just measured my own calves and mine are 13.5, and I love how these feel! They are spacious but aren't huge. So when or if you wear leggings and jeans, they aren't super tight & uncomfortable. Which often is a problem for most who have the classic Huntress style. I hope this helps!
Oct 14Reply

paomichelle91
😔 that sucks my calfs are 16" I guess they won't fit me then
Oct 14Reply

bribunz
@paomichelle91 they should fit, that's what they're designed for. I'll double check again today. I thought for some reason you said your measurements were 14.
Oct 14Reply

paomichelle91
Oh lol no I said 17" cause I want extra space for like jeans
Oct 14Reply

trinnylee
@bribunz Thanks for the response! The question is not if the "Huntress" style exists...my question is whether or not these are authentic "Hunter" boots so I called their customer service to see if they make/carry any boots that have "Huntress" on the front. They told me they never have & said that these are likely a replica/knock-off since only the name HUNTER ever will be shown. Just thought you should know so you can properly inform buyers and price this accordingly. I hope that helps!
Oct 14Reply

bribunz
@trinnylee that's strange bc you can find them on their website.
Oct 14Reply

trinnylee
@bribunz - You can find the name and description on the website easily but not the actual boots you have here probably because they're a replica/knock-off.
Oct 15Reply

bribunz
If they're a replica, Hunter wouldn't mention on the site what so ever.
Oct 15Reply

aflo123
These are fake.

sanjuan1982
Do you still have the box for the shoes?
Oct 20Reply

bribunz
@sanjuan1982 no I don't, I'm sorry.
Oct 20Reply

sanjuan1982
Did you purchase from Hunters website or from someone? I am interested but also wondering why they say Huntress?!
Oct 20Reply

bribunz
@sanjuan1982 the description of the Huntress boot from their website is posted in a picture above. 😊
Oct 20Reply

sanjuan1982
I looked on the Hunters website to find these boots and I do not see the 'Huntress' on the front for purchase. They all read 'Hunters'...I did call customer service and she informed that the 'Huntress' is a style of boot, made with bigger calves for people with bigger calves. All authentic Hunters boots only read ' Hunters' on the front. (as informed by customer service). You may want to call customer service yourself and change the description on these.
Oct 20Reply

bribunz
But they make the boot. @sanjuan1982 if you're not interested in buying you do not need to waste either of our time.
Oct 20Reply

sanjuan1982
They make Hunters boots. The Huntress is a style of boot. I was interested until I read comments and questioned if these are true Hunters. So I did my research to make sure I would be purchasing authentic Hunters. I wondered if you had maybe bought these used and were unaware of this. I hope not!
Oct 20Reply

aflo123
Just own up to it and drop your price. Don't lie to people just to make a sale. It's shady.
Oct 21Reply

bribunz
@aflo123 I'm sorry, I have nothing to own up too. If you're not interested please keep it moving.
Oct 21Reply

sanjuan1982
Clearly you are trying to make a shady deal.. That's a shame! Otherwise to would properly inform yourself and be an honest seller. Don't buy people unless you want a fake!!
Oct 22Reply

bribunz
@sanjuan1982 I'm sorry you feel that way. I posted pictures from Hunter's website to help explain situations like these. Like I said prior, you're clearly not interested, so please do not further waste either of our time. Have a nice day. 😊

3rdeyeblindgirl
@bribunz these are real, I just bought a pair like these, mine look exactly the same, same style, they are just an older style of huntress, Hunter did indeed used to put "huntress" on the front of their huntress boots:) These are no longer on their website cuz they don't make them anymore. Anybody saying they aren't real is passing up a really good price on real hunters.

Hi - I am a size 5.5/6 in regular shoes. Will these be way too big? I currently have a 5 in regular hunter but they don't fit around the calf. They do fit my foot but is snug. Wondering if I'm better off with 5 huntress or 6 huntress. Or just a regular 6 hunter. Thanks!
Jan 09Reply

bribunz
@lots2heart Concerning your calf, I think these would be perfect! As for size, I think you would have to wear thick socks with these. I'm actually a size 7 and can wear these for a short period of time before my feet are sore bc of cramping ha (just to help put the size factor in perspective). But if you like thick socks and would like the little extra room, I think these would be perfect!

Can you take a pic of the buckle? What year were these purchased? Is there any way you could clean off the blooming before they are purchased, or do you need something special to do that? Thanks so much!

Hi how old are the boots? Very interested. Thanks!!!
Jan 15Reply

@hlap2 your boots are beautiful but I'll have to pass. I have so many shoes already. Thank you for the offer though!

taylornicole_2
So cute! Btw I clean the blooming off my hunters with water and olive oil, a quicker & cheaper alternative to the boot cleaner! Found the tip on Pinterest and thought I'd share❤️ these are in great condition for an older styler so they just need a little cleaning up to be good as new😘

can you easily clean these?
Aug 15Reply

bribunz
@hayley__z Yes ma'am. They are easy to clean. But to clean what Hunter calls "blooming", they sell a product for that. As it states in the picture on this listing. 🙂

@healsci Send me an offer via Posh's offer option.
Oct 21Reply

bribunz
@healsci Keep in mind when you send me offers, that I have to spend an additional $20 on top of your $5 shipping fee to ship these bc of the size and weight. Plus Posh takes an additional fee. Only explaining so you understand my counter offer.

mjhasal
Could you possibly post a pic of the inside label of the boots?
Nov 13Reply

bribunz
@mjhasal There isn't a label on the inside
Nov 21Reply

gar_75
I have the "huntress" boots that are authentic. When I purchased them a few years ago, it was labeled "HUNTRESS" on the boot rather than HUNTER. They've since changed their label to just 'HUNTER on the huntress boot, probably b/c buyers didn't want to advertise that they were wearing extended calf boots right on the front. Mine were purchased from Hunter and came in a Hunter box and I paid the Hunter price for these boots. Give this seller a break, sheesh.

@garpie I'm interested since I've got the wide calves. I'll consider submitting an offer. Btw I love your boldness while remaining as polite as possible. They are not inexpensive when you get them from Hunter.
Apr 19Reply

gar_75
@gayla79 Nordstrom Rack and 6pm.com usually have the huntress boots discounted too. And they say "hunter" instead of "huntress". I just got a pair from 6pm. I honestly hated advertising that i had wide calves with my old boots.

@garpie thank you for the info. I'm short and I can't hide mine. But I appreciate the info 🌷
