janimack7 Lynda, how do you get free shipping for items? I also noticed people sometimes say "3.99 Shipping"... Yet I haven't seen any communication from Posh. I also noticed they haven't been offering .99 shipping on weekends anymore. Do you know why? (PS: I'm SO excited about my purchases!😄💟😄)

lynda721 @janimack7 iIts funny that you are asking that because I was just talking to another Posh friend about how Posh hasn't offered reduced shipping since like June. If Posh is offering a deal on shipping, the way it works is that the seller must decrease the price by at least 10%, then the buyer must purchase the item using only the "Buy Now" feature (you cannot use the "offer" button) within 1 hour of the seller reducing the price.

lynda721 @janimack7 The reduced shipping amount depends on what PM is offering. I've seen it to be $0.99, $1.99 & $3.99). Once in a great while they will also offer reduced shipping on say $50 and over worth of merchandise. And I think if you purchase $500 or more, PM always gives you a reduction in shipping cost.

lynda721 @janimack7 So when they are offered and in effect, yes you are right, as soon as you reduce the list price by at least 10%, the system would automatically give the reduced shipping price for the next 60 minutes if the seller purchases with the "Buy Now" feature.

lynda721 @janimack7 What most people do when these shipping deals are available, is leave the list price alone until a buyer tells you they are going to purchase the item. At that point, the buyer will ask the seller to reduce the price by the 10%. As soon as the seller changes the price, the buyer purchases the item.

lynda721 @janimack7 Most sellers will just put a notice up in their closet that lets the buyer know they will participate in the price reduction/discounted shipping deal. The seller does not want to reduce prices of all of their items by 10% all at once for two reasons.

lynda721 @janimack7 First of all, like I said before, the discounted shipping will only be applied to the purchased item for 1 hour after the price is reduced & thee is no way to tell exactly what time or day that price reduction took place. Secondly, not all your items are going to sell, even with a shipping deal so you don't want to get stuck with a reduced list price and no buyer. I hope this helps! 😘😘😘

lynda721 @autumnlynn3 We felt the same way! It was so much fun. The night of the party, we stayed on Posh until like 3 am EST. Ginger and I were literally falling asleep while we were on on cell phones talking to people post party! We were all a little burnt out on Posh for a week or so after. We all noticed we had more sales before the party than during or after.
