My name is Paige and I have my MS in Cultural and Environmental Resource Management 🌲 (I got those fab MK boots in the on posh!) arsbarsHmmm.... I wonder how that happened as I've never met a cat w asthma before. Did you ever live close to a factory or freeway? Even then, I've lived w felines all my life.... My squints is also large (he always eats Sunshine's food) and I can hear him breath very heavily these days!!! lol! 🙀

paigesaysmeow@arsbars I do live right next to a freeway in a big city but I have quite a few cats 😁 and he's the only one that seems to have a problem. I guess he's just more sensitive than the others. The inhaler is quite a feat to get him to use sometimes but he's such a good boy I think he knows it helps him!

blueeyedbellyCongratulations on your degree. That is absolutely awesome. And I'm very sorry to hear that your baby is sick. That's horrible believe me I've been there done that I know how horrifying that is. All you can do is just keep him as comfortable as you can and be with him when it's time. You will know. He probably will stop eating and drinking.y. My vet always told me that's the telltale sign. Hopefully that won't be for a long time.

paigesaysmeow@blueeyedbelly he's just asthmatic (and a bit overweight) but he's only 4 years old and he has an inhaler and gets steroid shots every so often and that really seems to help! The cost of all his medication is the huge problem 😒 he still has the rest of his life ahead of him! I saw you just lost your baby and I'm so sorry. I know the medications can be outrageously expensive, have you tried pet meds? Pet meds.com. Your veterinarian will call the prescriptions in to them and then they get sent to you. You may want to check that out it may be a little bit cheaper. I'm sorry to hear about your boys. That is devastating and thank you for your kind words about my babies.

jennib_17I got only a little time in Ecuador we were mostly in Quito, Mindo, and the cloud forest. I took a class on Island Biology (animals of the Galapagos, evolution, etc. ) and the trip was the last part of the class. Staying with a tribe must have been really cool!
