You’re better off taking it to a homeless shelter directly or a women’s shelter. That’s what I do here because I have a friend that works/manages a battered woman shelter and they take in kids too... at least in S. FL.

I have a broken foot/ankle that I’ve been dealing with since April 1st and I need surgery because the bones aren’t healing at all but no doctor wants to touch me because of my lupus... And of course the pain strikes at night so no sleep at all... If I could sleep, I’d be ok dealing with the pain but no sleep is not good...
