blackbird18 I don't have someone here to put it on their shoulder but I can take a pic on someone tomorrow. I am 5' 8 and the base of the bag is on my thigh and the fringe hangs to about my knee. I have the strap half way out so it could be shortened or lengthened to your liking. It's not real leather but I have one myself that I have been using for quite a while and it's holding up beautifully. I get compliments on it all the time!
