Louis vuitton date country codes will always match the made in heat stamp found on another location of the item. For example if the heat stamp says made in france it will always have a french date code letter code. It is 2 letters 4 #s.The date code will tell you either the month or the week it was made as well as the year. This is based off of when it was made. Please see above. You can compare this to when the item was supposed to be made for authenticating. This is just a guide. Nothing more.

acquittdapparel@sdipsey3 everything in my posts still apply to that piece. Just make sure the stitching isn't too yellow and the colors look right. Too bright or a red line around the edges of the vanchetta is also a give away.

acquittdapparel@sdipsey3 I suggest when you buy and receive contact Meme's treasures. On FB. Her name is Melissa. You can text her pics and she will authenticate in minutes! It's also not very expensive and allows you to file a claim with posh if there is any issue.

acquittdapparel@marial2572 it's hard to tell without pictures. The date code means it was made in France in 2001. There should be made in France somewhere under the words Louis Vuitton. That old of a bag should have patina. The handles should not be a very light color unless it was barely used. They should be a darker brown or honey color.

acquittdapparel@marial2572 some super fakes do. Super fakes will look almost 1 to 1 idnetical. If you are buying locally, work with Melissa from meme's treasures. She has a FB page and you can text her pics. She will authenticate in minutes. It's worth the small amount of $$$ to have peace of mind.
