@rcb617 These are actually true to size, if anything a little big. I can not wear pointy or narrow shoes either and I wear them in my actual size of 8.5. I could have probably got away with an 8.0. I would not recommend buying these in a bigger size. I'm not just trying to sell these to you๐ but I have to say these are one of the most comfortable pairs of shoes I have ever had and I don't do well for myself in the shoe section. The leather is high quality and buttery soft. True black in color.
