chiara08@danimarieophus1 Yes. The chain can be changed and yes, it is stainless steel. The measurement I sent you is for the shorter position. It has another loop that will give you a drop of 10".

chiara08@danimarieophus1 On me it drops right below the collar bone. If you have a ribbon or thread at home just cut it at 10" inches and put it around your neck. I'm not at home but I'm guessing the pendant itself it's another 1.5 inches. Hope you find this piece of advise useful. Christmas is not far away. If it doesn't fit you for any reason it would make a wonderful present since it's brand new and comes with the original box ๐Ÿ˜‰
