bubbles_sunday @vaultofsdlr this watch is awesome. I'm from MI so Shinola is super hot here (built in Detroit) and resurrected from an older company that used to do shoe polish and stuff...Super cool story. they've grown tremendously over the last couple years. The lifetime warranty is cool...if you're near a store you can just walk in and they'll take care of you right on the spot. I like this one cuz it's still a silver band but the gold detail on face and dial.

On another note I walked into Bloomingdales to look at the Michele watches cause I am in hunt for a new daily driver. The sales lady said these watches are going to be the next huge thing Ur price is great I do think I see you on another selling platform. I agree the colors and tones of this one are very rare!

bubbles_sunday @vaultofsdlr she's totally right, shinola totally blew up and selling like crazy right now. You'll find similar on other sites but in store and online thru shinola itself is sold out. I debated keeping it but I have my eye on a different one so I'm holding out for it and selling this one. I just sold another one on same auction site, it sold within a few days but it was rare and she was specifically looking for it.

bubbles_sunday @glorr I got a decent deal and bought 2. I sold the first one almost immediately and I'd like to sell this one purely for the idea of making a profit. Initially I bought both thinking I'd keep one. I love this one and will keep it if no one buys. Still never worn. Been packaged up. I found another one that I have my eye out for so I'd like this one gone to buy the other one. Plus 36mm looks better on my wrist then 41mm.

I was looking at the Michele watches but this is more affordable and this particular look appeals to me. Guess I could Google images too.

bubbles_sunday @vickyd1 I just Googled and searched on ebay but didn't find too many wrist shots, there are a few though although there's many different styles. If you're not familiar with the brand, it's a cool story, I'm from Detroit so it's particular cool to us here and these watches are obviously catching on everywhere.

bubbles_sunday @vickyd1 the watch has been repackaged in plastic, bubble wrapped for safety, etc , and already packaged in a shipling box and I prefer not to model my items so that's why I'm hesitant to take out just for a wrist shot.

bubbles_sunday @vickyd1 they're handmade in detroit, just opened a couple yrs ago and then really blew up. Hq in detroit. Really took a huge role in the upturn of the city culture and we're really proud of it. Shinola used to make shoe polish make in early mid century and just recently has been revived. Watches, gorgeous leather goods, bikes. And then the dpt stores like nordstrom started carrying them maybe 1 yr ago.

bubbles_sunday @vickyd1 the straps, handmade in fl, are interchangeable to the watch. So u can buy more straps to go with this watch (20mm lug), leather, alligator, ribber, other metals...and once these styles come out, they end up becoming Ltd editions because they just make something new, a new color of face and a new dial so there's not too many except for the staples which are exactly alike. Bands run maybe 50-200$ depending on material. The band this one comes with alone is worth about 175.

bubbles_sunday @vickyd1 41mm is definitely a large sz for a woman's wrist. It's not as big as the 47mm but it's definitely considered a boyfriend watch as it would be a bigger face for sure. So it depends the style u prefer. My intentions were to keep this watch so I had both styles as I have a few smaller more girly watches and then this one is so different.
