leoninus@mommyfun Armpit to armpit is approximately 23 1/2", bust line is approximately 27". So yes it should be fine. I sometimes wear XL myself and can wear large in this.

leoninus@kfab333 Size medium from dip of V-neck measuring straight down is a generous 23". From start of adjustable strap (where it's sewn on in front) measuring straight down, 27". With adjustable strap set at medium length measuring strap from start going straight up adds another 5".
