I'm devastated and heart broken but my lil peanut is running, jumping and playing in paradise after 6 months in the hospital battling a brain tumor. Flying all over the US for special chemo treatments. It is difficult to understand God's plan. It seems so unfair. But please don't forget that isn't enough, we need to seek the Lord with all our hearts, die to ourselves so that He may live! I know we will never understand God's plans or purposes, but rest in the fact that He is sovereign, remember that Isaiah says that the rains don't return to Him without first accomplishing the purpose for which He sent them .. He alone knows why He allowed her to suffer that..

megmckee Did she have DIPG? I hear about too many kids that have died of brain tumors for lack of research and treatments. Heartbreaking.

savvyj @megmckee No she had Astrocytoma.-She went into the hospital on July 27 and after 11 surgeries was there for six months until she passed on January 27th. I was studying to be a nurse until i lived through Isabelle’s battle and it changed my life. I am graduating next month with a teaching degree. Isabelle will be with me everyday😢

savvyj @lisajacksonavl Ahhhh thank you sweet friend! This was 4 years ago and since then her Mother, my best friend passed away in December🙏Such a completely devastating time for me!!! Thank you!
