becwheeler Do you think if I tagged you in a post you could tell me here if it was fake or not. I've never seen them before and tried looking them up but couldn't find. So I'm worried they might be fake.

cookiemonstress @becwheeler, thing is I don't proclaim to be an expert in that, so I could be wrong and don't want to accuse someone, although some fakes are kind of obvious when I have the same item. Also people could be using pictures that are not the actual item, so you won't know till you buy and receive the item. If it is too cheap to be true, and you can't find the exact same item anywhere on the Internet, I'd be very careful.

cookiemonstress @becwheeler you can also ask for more pics. I always send lots of pics when asked, I have nothing to hide. But people who seem dodgy about showing you details of the items, well that is not a good sign. In any case Posh Protect does protect you within 3 days of delivery. You can always dispute it if it turns out fake.

cookiemonstress @becwheeler Go to a lulu store if you can and have a good look and feel of the material, design details, etc of their items to get a general idea of the quality and its look and feel. So when you receive an item you can tell if it seems "off". I hope this helps! :)

cookiemonstress @merci22 sometimes people take off the rip tags (I always do) and don't remember the size, so they just put in "small" for example in their ad. I always tell them where the size dot is and ask for a pic. Also, lululemon does come in S/M/L sizes.... For example the Enlighten tank and the Savasana Softshell coat

cookiemonstress @daniellevazquez problem is there are tons of new with tags imitation. The first sign is if the hang tag is not attached to the left of the garment, but to the rip tag. That would be for sure a fake.

cookiemonstress @itzelleon I have never seen a plastic covering on the size dot, and the rip tag isn't supposed to be seen in. Is the rip tag somewhat sparkly /shimmery? Real ones are, and are textured - you can run your nail up and down the front of the rip tag and you should feel some ridges. Fakes ones usually have silky looking rip tags and are smooth instead is textured. I hope this helps.

cookiemonstress @ash_and08 yes it doesn't look like a commonly copied jacket. Thing is, anyone can put up photos of a genuine jacket and then send you a fake one (not that the seller is doing this, but generally speaking). Can you check the front pockets, especially the left pocket (left when worn) - is there a white size circle there with the size number?

cookiemonstress Having the size dot is a good sign. Not that fakes doesn't have size dots, but it isn't a commonly copied jacket plus with size dot - more likely it could be genuine. Is there anything that makes you think it could be a fake? The jacket is called karmacollected jacket. You can google for actual pics and see if they match yours as well. :)

desiderata_x Yes! Fake lululemon here on Poshmark! Please beware. Luckily it's pretty obvious once you spot it. The logo looks authentic in pics but not in real life. The main giveaway is the name of the item. If you're not sure, google the name under which it's listed and you'll know. Also, they give out item # and measurements in their listing. They are also in Tradesy.

desiderata_x There's also no rip tag. I received a fake in the mail today and it was extremely obvious to me because I own a ton of lulus thanks to my lulu addiction. Contact Poshmark immediately and report accounts with fakes! Good thing is, every other lulu I bought here are authentic and most people here are very sweet.

cookiemonstress @kariann2124 the silver logos are all reflective on mine. I'm wondering if the pair you've bought could have been washed a lot, and now fades off? It's hard to see just from a logo. The material, stitchings, size dot etc could perhaps determine it too.

cookiemonstress @kariann2124 if I look just at the logo by itself, I won't be sure it is looks authentic to be honest. Other ways to determine per my earlier message, stitchings, the feel of the material, size dot, etc (if yours come without tags). Does it have a rip tag on it (the long tag sewn to the inside the pants where the waist band is)?

cookiemonstress I just saw the listing from the person who commented on your post. Was it the navy blue listing size 4? Her 3rd pic, the size dot looks real. However it seems like that pic is of a pin stripe pair, while the rest of the pics are of a navy blue pair....? That 3rd pic also looks brighter (picture quality) than the rest of all the pics.... have a look.

cookiemonstress @kariann2124 have a look at the pair you have and check if there is a size dot or what it looks like. You can find the size dot in the pocket of waist band. Usually on the left side when worn.

kariann2124 @cookiemonstress so I just took a closer look. Pic 3 on the original post is of the pants I got. The inner waistband is actually slightly striped and a picture I took looks the same. The size dot is reflective and looks legit.

simonsgirl78 @cookiemonstress Just FYI, yes, sometimes the size dot AND/OR the Lululemon Mark circle come with a protective tissue or covering over them when you purchase them at Lululemon in person.... I know mine has. It's also come with a little tissue or covering over them when I ordered from Official Lululemon online store. (just to let you know....) thanks! Jossie ; ^ )

simonsgirl78 P.S. And you're right, the tag is usually sparkly or shimmery when brand new. However, with washing and wear, the tag fades and it loses that shimmer!

cookiemonstress @simonsgirl78 the fake ones sometimes come with a plastic covering over it. I have bought lululemon from 5 different countries and maybe 150 items, but never once has it come with a protective covering over the size dot, so that is really odd to me

It was about 8 months ago! And it's a very high end Lululemon in one of the richest and most expensive counties in the U.S! (Marin County, CA)

mackkkk34 @cookiemonstress if the leggings are cloth feeling are they fake?? I just purchased from a lady on here and I’ve never seen lulu crop legging with a sipper on the bottom. I revived them today and they are a size 6 like she said yet they fit like a 2. I have multiple lulus size 6 and they ALL fit and some are even big. These will not go over my thighs hardly. cookiemonstress @zooeyc Asian fit lululemon comes in such sizes. Google lululemon hong kong site. Having said that, I don’t own any Asian fit ones, so I don’t know what the size dot looks like. If the item (and the seller) is not from Asia, I will have doubts the item is from Asia. Because it cost more to buy there than from Canada and USA, why would an American buy it from there (since posh’s users are american-centric). So you will have to make a judgement call on that.

peas813 I purchased a swiftly tech and the design on the front is higher than any I’ve seen it runs into the neckline. Do you know of any swiftly techs that were like that? I asked the lady if it was fake & she did buy it second hand herself but said it was just a different style. I just don’t think that’s the case but I do t really know.
