lfettersCan you please check a different kvd palette i just bought very worried.

Feb 18Reply

lfettersThe name of the seller is theboutique5 I just purchased the 4 piece set with the kvd palette in it. Please help!!

Feb 18Reply

Is this listing inappropriate? Report Listing

serendipity_xWow. Thank you so much for the comparisons love

Feb 10Reply

macaddictonThanks for the listing. A lot of gals don't even know they are selling KVD fakes now, I was just discussing this issue on a listing for Mac fakes. It's getting ridiculous the amount of new brands being counterfeited. Its shameful these people sell fakes with potentially dangerous chemicals and harmful effects with no regard for others Great closet btw

Feb 10Reply

happyallthetime@macaddicton I so agree. I looked up some of the fake sites and almost all the KVDs are sold out on all of them. It's sick. Mac, KVD, UD, too faced and not just palettes. Greedy sick people. It's punishable by law!! Some are giving people eye infections from the junk they use to make it.

Feb 10Reply

macaddicton@happyallthetime , I know right. Even Lime Crime, Ben Nye powder, its ridiculous anymore and so dangerous. I always knew about fake Mac because I'm a collector, but its out of hand. How these sites/ manufacturers get away with this is beyond me

Feb 10Reply

happyallthetime@macaddicton yes I collect and do makeup so I know my stuff pretty good. Sounds like you do too. It's the people just getting into makeup that are getting scammed and I feel so bad for them. I have a lot of people ask me about listings and I have a great partner who is helping me catch them too. I want posh to be the one place we don't have to be scared of scams.

Feb 10Reply

macaddicton@happyallthetime , Yeah, I love make up, too much...lol and you're awesome for doing this. Its very needed and a sweet, kind thing to do. Great gal

Feb 10Reply

happyallthetime@macaddicton thank you so much. That's so sweet. I just have a big heart & I like to help others. If this helps I'm happy! I wish I could do more & I will find a way to but it's slow going. I'm trying to get a fake to do vs. so people can really spot differences cause it's never been done on a KVD but it takes for ever to ship. If I have to waist money on a fake to help I'm all for it. They are cheap that's why it's sick even at a discount they are making like $20 a palette maybe more.

Feb 10Reply

pilotkelson1056@macaddicton Seriously, I had no idea Kat Von d was popular enough to be made fake. I never would have known until I found this lovely lady's comments calling a fake seller out. What a sad world that so many people don't care about other people's feelings and just want to make a buck. I could never do that to someone.

Feb 10Reply

happyallthetimeWould you call it harassment if I call someone out or would you call it reporting a crime? Are they ready to go to jail and pay a hefty fine? I'm not scared to take it on!! Go ahead come back on me but you better find proof fast that every one of them are real. Cops can search your computer to find orders even if you clear your history!!! 😊😊😊

Feb 10Reply

macaddicton@pilotkelson1056 , I know, I couldn't believe it either. The new fakes are expanding at an alarming rate, they are even putting fake batch numbers on stuff. Its disgusting. And even worse the low life people reselling a $10 counterfeited palette as Authentic and endangering peoples health. This lady is a God send, shes helping a lot of buyers be more educated and informed.

Feb 10Reply

happyallthetime@macaddicton @pilotkelson1056 you guys are to good to me. Thank you! You guys are also amazing to for helping spread the word. I'm not harassing I'm reporting a crime. I hope if they decide to bring it they are ready for a felony charge and if posh ends up in trouble over it too they are in even more trouble cause posh could sue the if they get fined too.

Feb 10Reply

happyallthetime@macaddicton so someone I called out not by name is blaming me for a girl saying she sold her fake stuff when I didn't even see the girls post till someone else tagged the girl in my post way after I posted it and then I checked it out. The girl didn't see my post till after she complained. Someone saw it and tagged her in my post. Sad to commit a crime then blame others.

Feb 10Reply

macaddicton@happyallthetime , The nerve of some people. Just brush it off girl. YOU'RE DOING THE RIGHT THING. That seller is just guilty of fraud and scrambling to try to look good. I honestly have no idea who these people are or whatever, but anyone who wasn't guilty would just stick by the sale and actually use your post to help them authenticate their item. So haters gonna hate...stay strong

Feb 10Reply

happyallthetime@macaddicton @pilotkelson1056 do you guys have an Instagram account? Posh is doing a giveaway $100 for tagging 2 shipping buddies on posh Instagram. I would 1/3 😉

Feb 10Reply

pilotkelson1056@happyallthetime My insta is the same as my handle here

Feb 10Reply

happyallthetime@pilotkelson1056 I'll tag you! Mine is different but you'll know. Make sure once I tag and follow you do the same. Better chances.

Feb 10Reply

macaddicton@happyallthetime , I saw that promotion. I am grrr because I guess I'm dumb, I installed it awhile back but didn't understand how to really use it, old what. Haha. I gotta try again because between this contest and my favorite game, Covet Fashion, having contests on there all the time, I'm missing out

Feb 10Reply

happyallthetime@macaddicton yes doll with all your Mac you need to be promoting girlie!

Feb 10Reply

andreamay102971Crap I just bought some Mac single pit eye shadows. Now I'm freaking out wether they see real or not. If they are not. Who and how do I report them?

Feb 11Reply

happyallthetime@andreamay102971 it's ok honey if it's not your protected and can get your money back. Was it through posh? Can you give me the name without tagging hun. I'll check it out. Are you close to a mall with a major department store?

Feb 11Reply

happyallthetime@andreamay102971 once you receive don't rate your buyer right away but you need it checked by MAC. Also if it's real you don't want to hold up their money so you will need to go quickly to the nearest MAC counter. You can look up the closest one on google. Please keep me informed hun. I'll help you any way I can! If it's fake report to the site for a full refund. They may send you free postage to send it back. This has to stop. It could be ligit though so don't stress it yet.

Feb 11Reply

ness5805I purchased a fake pallet on merc. Everything was exactly the same except for one shade.. The shade ludwin was spelled luowin. The color swatches looked the same except for laetus.. It wasn't the banana looking shade. As far as the box, serial number, and cover it all matched up.

Feb 11Reply

happyallthetime@ness5805 yes it's hard to spot sometimes. It can be the littlest thing but it will be off (M) is the worst for fakes! So is e bay anymore. It's like no one cares about anybody these days and it's all greed even with the sites. They are still making money so why do they care but it could come back on them cause it's a crime and I know posh % is high but I feel like they care a bit more than others.

Feb 11Reply

zoeelizabethcdo you have the Anastasia glow kit? :-)

Feb 11Reply

happyallthetime@zoeelizabethc I do not. They look like they are pretty hard to get. I see Macy's has them it not many other places so I wouldn't trust buying from someone online for that item unless you get proof of purchase.

Feb 11Reply

zoeelizabethcah okay! thank you 😇

Feb 11Reply

happyallthetime@zoeelizabethc I just left you a message on your listing. Thanks doll

Feb 11Reply

chaneleffectsI have a fake I bought myself and it's crazy how the pigmentation is so different. kat von D's makeup is so strong in pigmentation if you compare a fake it's so easy to spot. this is awesome of you to post this!

Feb 12Reply

happyallthetime@chaneleffects thank you. I know and the fake are your palettes aligned perfect? Do you still have it? Would you be willing to send me some pictures. I want to do a comparison but it takes a month to ship from China. This guide only helps so much unless I can point out the details. I know some off hand just by seeing the fake ones posted.

Feb 12Reply

chaneleffectsI don't own the real one just because it's too expensive for me right now and the fake was $6 from China. I can still send photos though if you like!! or I can take it into Sephora tomorrow and take some comparison photos, I've been meaning to do that anyways

Feb 12Reply

happyallthetime@chaneleffects I would even buy it off you if your not happy with it and would give me a good price on it. I don't want you to loose money though if you bought it at a high price from someone else.

Feb 12Reply

chaneleffectsIt's the Kat Von D countour Kit actually. I bought some fake makeup from China and I realized that it was better to spend $30 on one thing that's high quality then $30 on a bunch of fake stuff that I end up having to throw away.

Feb 12Reply

happyallthetime@chaneleffects oh ok their is already a comparison on that one if you search google but not on the eye palette.

Feb 12Reply

mvoutovOh i can tell you guys, i purchased from a website M.AC. makeup, a lot!! And later i found out it's counterfeit bc MAC does not have this high discounts! After a month or so came the dwlivery from CHINA and it wasn't even what i purchased - it came dior, channel, mac and urban decay ... the difference between the real and fakes mac is on the botton says made in USA and Mac is actually made in Canada! So disappointing. ..

Feb 12Reply

maggieclark1Do any of you ladies know if the Kay Von D fragrances are fakes?

Feb 12Reply

happyallthetime@maggieclark1 I don't think the fragrance because it would really take a lot of work to recreate the exact fragrance. It would be to noticeably off I would think put I can look around in the morning for you to check but I do think the fragrances are safe.

Feb 12Reply

happyallthetime@mvoutov yes if it's so good to be true their is a reason. And it's not just palettes. It's lipsticks, primer & foundation to name a few more but I could go on and on about the fakes. Another major brand fake is 🌟Benefit🌟

Feb 12Reply

maggieclark1Thank you :). I love her fragrances and ran out so I bought some on eBay. When I saw this listing I got worried. She discontinued her fragrances so they are hard to come by.

Feb 12Reply

happyallthetime@rmkonno some people do sell real thing cheaper cause they need the money & with UD the limited edition don't get faked cause they are limited to timeframe. If someone pulled out a vice 4 like 3-4 years from now the makeup would not be the same consistency. You really are safe if you ask proof of purchase. I don't understand why they don't post proof w/product (Tip off its not real)! I sold a UD palette added the proof of purchase in the add & sent it to my buyer for verification

Feb 12Reply

happyallthetime@rmkonno well KVD palettes can only come from KVD sit, Sephora, and now QVC but you have an account on all of them when you purchase them all your info is stored it the system. Same with Ulta and Urban Decay. The people who will take it back is the sites they got scammed at used or not because it's counterfeit illegal makeup. Cause even if they used it they didn't know. If someone gets the law involved the site can get in trouble too that's why they say you can not sell counterfeit items.

Feb 12Reply

happyallthetime@rmkonno sites or stores that sell them especially Sephora & Ulta have a rewards system so even in store buy is in your account history. I order from UD to & all my info is stored. Once you buy an item from places you get emails on products. Cause your account is in the system. I could go back & pull all my purchases right now if I need it. One girl said she worked for Sephora but couldn't find her receipt well if you work their you know your purchases are keep on your account.

Feb 12Reply

happyallthetime@rmkonno I just added my order history to last photo so you can see my example. I purchased the KVD at JC Penny Sephora & I went online just now to Sephora & bam it's there. It's still always good for you to you to take it to Sephora to authenticated & if not. Money back. If it is real great you got a good deal. The only way you can get a good deal on UD is saved up Ulta points but they would still have proof from Ulta.

Feb 12Reply

luzalvaroTheres a girls closet named lucysgiftshop that wrote a post supposedly for you about an hihr ago @happyallthetime is she a scammer too??

Feb 12Reply

luzalvaro*hour

Feb 12Reply

happyallthetime@luzalvaro lol 😊. Is all I will say on that one. Lol could you tag me in her post?

Feb 12Reply

happyallthetime@luzalvaro I kept everything she has said about me even stalking me so if she was smart & still has the post up she should take it down immediately cause! She's in the wrong not me. I only report criminals!

Feb 12Reply

luzalvaroOk I'll tag you lol, im new here so just wondering who i should be buying from 😊😊

Feb 12Reply

happyallthetime@luzalvaro I hope you understand why and what's going on with the situation without me even saying any more 😊 Thanks for the info doll. Posh needs to be safe!

Feb 12Reply

luzalvaroYes i figured theres alot people selling more than one of the same thing, it's weird! Somethings not right with that picture! Thanks for the info!! @happyallthetime

Feb 12Reply

happyallthetime@luzalvaro not right with that picture is so correct. What was proven on that? Hmmm?

Feb 12Reply

luzalvaroLol exactly what i was thinking...

Feb 12Reply

happyallthetime@luzalvaro thank you so much doll. That's pretty funny actually.

Feb 12Reply

happyallthetimeOh & buy the way did any of you see me ever say any names in this post?

Feb 12Reply

luzalvaro@happyallthetime lol nope

Feb 12Reply

happyallthetime@luzalvaro thanks so much hun!

Feb 12Reply

happyallthetimeharassment? Wait till they see the stalking & things said about me. Funny. If someone was smart they would let it go now! Cause I could post everything mean harassing, cruel & stalking said. I've said nothing or no names about anyone in my post. I never said I know your personal information & you being a model cause your ugly & could never afford something like this. Let's see bully, harass and stalking. Wow it keeps adding up.

Feb 12Reply

happyallthetimeThis post is a guide for people not a middle school drama!

Feb 12Reply

happyallthetime@rmkonno I think if your buying high priced makeup items you have accounts especially if your gunna turn around and sell it. UD doesn't have rewards but I have an account. Technology is super cool. Even Victoria's Secret has an account for look up if you buy and if your gunna sell why wouldn't you save your recipes? I'm really talking about the people that have "lots" of high priced to sell not the person selling one palette cause she needs the money. Even they take a major cut too cause of %.

Feb 12Reply

happyallthetime@luzalvaro funny that went away quick. Lol

Feb 12Reply

luzalvaro@happyallthetime wow lol people these days

Feb 12Reply

happyallthetime@maggieclark1 so I don't see anything about the perfume. There is a site I found that if you send them the sent they will try to replicate it if is discontinued but I don't think the bottles would be the same so I'm thinking your safe on the fragrance. Good news though. It looks like KVD might be bringing it back.

Feb 12Reply

peytonpelham19Do you have any shade and light palettes?

Feb 15Reply

peytonpelham19Shade and light eye*

Feb 15Reply

happyallthetime@peytonpelham19 yes I do but I'm not sure if I'm ready to part with it yet. I still haven't even touched it except for the pictures. Lol I really only bought it to show others as a guide as it wasn't even on my radar. I tried a sample of the KVD foundation & fell in love. I thought what does this tattoo girl know about makeup. Lol well I was wrong about the foundation. If I do decide to part with it soon I'll tag you and give you first dibs if you don't find an authentic one before then.

Feb 15Reply

misslaura1969She''s "hear" to help... I don't trust anyone who doesn't even use proper English in a business listing.

Feb 15Reply

happyallthetime@misslaura1969 thanks for pointing out typos in a "NOT AT ALL A BUSINESS LISTING"! This palette is not for sale lady! It's called a guide! If you want to be a teacher you might want to head to middle school. Thank you!

Feb 15Reply

happyallthetime@misslaura1969 fixed your typo are you happy now?

Feb 15Reply

happyallthetimeWeird people! If you get upset over typos it really is quite childish! I'm not teaching English class. Im also not perfect! Is anyone?

Feb 15Reply

happyallthetime@buythe90s look at my new post that I'm trying to help someone with and you'll see a long list of fakes that are unbelievable and it's not even all of them. I was told of a very popular fake site and just type in Palette. It's under the UD Glenda Palette post. I mean even The Balm, LORAC which is popular but didn't think fake popular. Greed is so sick!

Feb 16Reply

b_e_c_c_a_What would the fake palettes look like? would it still have an authenticity code on the box?

Feb 16Reply

happyallthetime@b_e_c_c_a_ yes Hun they will still have a serial number. The pans will not be completely alined and slightly crooked. The colors might be off. Sometimes the ingredients will be off. Writing on the box can be different and on some fakes the top magnets that hold the box closed on each side of the mirror will show.

Feb 16Reply

happyallthetime@b_e_c_c_a_ if you have an iPhone you can screen shot the products on Sephora, KVD and now I think QVC is selling them. No other places yet. You can also scream shot the item listed and I have an app that you can put real vs listed next to each over and zoom in to help a lot. The app is called layout. It can still be hard to tell sometimes just by eye. If you buy and think something is off. Sephora will authenticate but try to get a proof of purchase like I listed mine.

Feb 16Reply

b_e_c_c_a_Okay thank you so much!

Feb 16Reply

happyallthetime@b_e_c_c_a_ sorry for typos a lady got mad at me over it but I have a condition that causes issues plus I type fast & don't look over it. With technology it's easy to pull proofs. Especially Sephora w/account look up. If they skip over you asking it's fish. I just asked 2 listings on (M) for proof on something & it got skipped. Another said she didn't have it which is red flag. If your purchasing to sell you should save proof & they can go back & pull as you see in my post.

Feb 16Reply

happyallthetime@b_e_c_c_a_ sorry it was so much but it take a lot to answer correctly. No problem doll.

Feb 16Reply

shanda5303I just got scammed on Merc for a fake UD Smoky I'm so mad!! It was so close to the original the girls at Ulta almost thought it was real but the brush tipped us off it was missing the serial code and the print on the back of the palette was very slightly smaller than the original one. Should I make a similar pay with my images to warm people of the new UD fakes going around?

Feb 16Reply

happyallthetime@shanda5303 That's truly up to you doll. Make sure you get your money back and report it to posh. Here is the thing about calling people out. You can't be soft about it. They will attack you and try to make you feel like your doing wrong but your not! It's not harassment it's called reporting a crime punishable buy law and jail time. So if you do don't listen to anything anyone says about you cause your doing the right thing hun!

Feb 16Reply

happyallthetime@shanda5303 they are getting good. I looked a a UD 2 last night that everything looked exact except like you said "The brush". It was so tiny you would've missed it. I always screen shot and zoom in and found the urban decay was not centered with the NAKED which my original is. They are getting good! It's so sick

Feb 16Reply

shanda5303@happyallthetime I'm not sure if she's on posh but I'm not afraid of calling her out cause like they say "Hello hath no fury like a woman scorned" 😈. She's going to get what's coming to her real quick. 😉 Thanks for the advice 😊

Feb 16Reply

shanda5303Oops Hell* (dang autocorrect)

Feb 16Reply

happyallthetime@shanda5303 Merc won't let you call them out like posh though. They won't allow warning posts so you could put it on posh cause most use both. Sorry I just saw the Merc part. Report them and put in a claim with them. I'm not sure how Merc works on that level though. Merc is almost all fakes

Feb 16Reply

happyallthetime@shanda5303 I know auto correct sucks. Definitely report her and if you see others trying to buy. I warn them. I just did it last night on Merc one girl had a too faced semi sweet and the box too faced wasn't pink. Anyone who knows too faced they are all about Pink. Lol

Feb 16Reply

shanda5303@happyallthetime 😢 I wish I knew that before I ordered. I also have a Tarte tartelette coming which is probably a fake, those are harder to spot thought cause they all have the same serial numbers (I checked at Ulta yesterday). I've already reported her to Merc I'm just waiting to hear back, if I don't I'm going to report them to the BBB. I've seen one or two "warning listings" on Merc but I'm not sure if they typically get flagged down. 😕

Feb 16Reply

shanda5303@happyallthetime Yep the brush and the back of the palette font is slightly larger on the fake.

Feb 16Reply

happyallthetime@shanda5303 are Tartes faked? I haven't seen a fake yet but I wouldn't doubt it. They are faking everything. The Balm, LAROC, Snashbox I could go on and on. A friend told me a popular fake site called AliExpress and I went on it last night and found so much. Check it out sometime so you know what to ask for proof on. Also did you know Tarte was bought out by a company in China?

Feb 17Reply

happyallthetime@shanda5303 yes I tried to put a warning on Merc but they took it down and told me just to report them. It sucks because Merc is a great site to sell on but most things I see on their are FAKE!!

Feb 17Reply

shanda5303@happyallthetime lol I have the AliExpress app on my phone! I've bought shoes on it once. Yes I looked at it last night and figured out they are getting the UD Smoky palettes for about $8 a piece and turning around and making $22+ on each so for a group of 20 they could make around $400 it's such a scam! 😠😤😡

Feb 17Reply

shanda5303@happyallthetime I haven't found a fake tarte either but if the ppl who are selling fakes are also selling them I find it hard to believe they shelled out the cash for the real thing since they obviously take the cheap way out anyway 😒

Feb 17Reply

tjsmama22I have a lot of high end makeup for sale and I'm not a scam... it's possible that not everyone is out there to scam . 😀

Feb 17Reply

kellyandmattThank you I was actually going to purchase some but was scared of getting ripped off thank you

Feb 17Reply

shortgirl72@happyallthetime I just happened to come across your post! & I just bought what I think is a fake KVD palette on *Merc. At first glance, it looks legit but I see Leowig instead of Ludwig (like one person mentioned) & the pigmentation just isn't there. The seller has nothing but positive feedback but I think it's bcuz most buyers don't know how to spot fakes!

Feb 17Reply

shortgirl72@happyallthetime Your post is very helpful. --- I'm usually pretty good at spotting fakes bcuz I'm always in ulta or Sephora checking out new products. I'm taking my palette up to Sephora later to compare it before I report the seller to *Merc! Keep up the good work! Don't let haters stop u!

Feb 17Reply

happyallthetime@shortgirl72 yes honey I've seen so many on Merc and I tried to do a post like this on the app but they don't allow it and took it down. I haven't seen many on that app that are real. No one can sell that many at the price they are selling for and make any money. Take it to Sephora and then contact Merc.

Feb 17Reply

happyallthetime@shortgirl72 and your so right on! The reviews are of people that don't know. So many have no idea especially the younger ones just getting into makeup. They think wow KVD cheap but they have no idea it can cause harmful reactions which I show in another of my posts. If Merc gives you a hard time remind them that it's a felony crime for the app and the seller. That why I love posh but the % eats up the money you can ligit get off of the palette.

Feb 17Reply

shortgirl72@happyallthetime I know not everyone is trying to scam bcuz I have bought real stuff for cheaper in the past. I know some ppl might need the money so they sell their stuff & I know some ppl get a pro discount & turn around & sell it for a profit. ~~~ gotta say that before ppl get their panties in a bunch 😂

Feb 17Reply

happyallthetime@shortgirl72 I saw them selling in the 20 range. The pans aren't full & showing metal. Colors off plus the writing. If I listed mine w/my crazy lady coupon deals on Merc I would still have to list at $40 + shipping to even make a few dollars literally. I know all the tricks w/Sephora & it's just not right!! What's sad is the seller probably doesn't even know how it could harm! Im so glad I can help others w/my post! I'm not claiming to be a know it all but I can't sit back & watch this happen!

Feb 17Reply

happyallthetime@shortgirl72 I agree not everyone scams but lately it sure is more of a 80/20 leaning towards the scam side! Nothing is wholesale so cheap prices and a lot of expensive palettes are a tip off. If someone is not scamming it's normally only a few & will be asking for more money. I've asked a lot of people lately for proof which I show in all of my few that I sell but it gets skipped over a lot. We all know just like in this listing you can show proof even if the receipt is not kept.

Feb 17Reply

happyallthetime@shortgirl72 No they can not use their pro discount for selling or Sephora employee. They risk losing everything. I'm not even aloud to use my pro for my own items that I collect. Pros have to prove use and license. All pro programs even have a basic contract that if you profit by selling you will be terminated but your right some people do need the money at times. An employee can be fired immediately if found out per Sephora management I spoke with.

Feb 17Reply

shortgirl72@happyallthetime no I mean they have pro discounts when u buy directly on some makeup websites.

Feb 17Reply

shortgirl72@happyallthetime & I know ppl with licenses that do buy & turn around & resell for profit. Not my stylist but my good friend's stylist does.

Feb 17Reply

happyallthetime@shortgirl72 the only pro is for makeup artists & the risk is to high to lose. I do know of one way to get it cheaper through deals with Sephora however with tax this palette is 49 something. Let's just round to 50 cause it's close. I know how to get it 20% off. That's posh cut! That's why I said even a real one to make a few dollars literally only maybe 2-3 dollars. The only way it would be cheaper is someone over spent & need money quick but they won't have many to sell.

Feb 17Reply

happyallthetime@shortgirl72 oh that's not good. If they get caught they will be terminated per the contract. I guess to each his own but the risk is to high for me! Let say they find out and I have a client who wants me to use a specific product. It really does happen too. Not everyone is oh just make me pretty. Lol. If I can't get the product they go by by

Feb 17Reply

shortgirl72@happyallthetime no honey. My gf's stylist gets 40% off on UD's website (I believe it's UD). & she has offered her stuff. Just bcuz u won't risk it doesn't mean others won't. & there's even reputable you tubers (who claim to have licenses) who have blog sales & sell their stuff. Not everyone is honest I guess. --I wouldn't risk it but I guess others don't care.

Feb 17Reply

happyallthetime@shortgirl72 I can also use the pro products but your not supposed to use it for collecting either. I very much value being reputable but again my lips are sealed and to each his own.

Feb 17Reply

shortgirl72@happyallthetime ur right! I wouldn't risk it either. Eventually u get caught! 😆

Feb 17Reply

happyallthetime@shortgirl72 just make sure to get it authenticated. You can even do it through your friend but Merc will listen more to a Sephora no way! Also report them please! Let me know how it goes hun. I'm very interested to see how Merc handles it as I've heard posh is pretty good.

Feb 17Reply

shortgirl72@happyallthetime I'm not bothering with authenticating at Sephora. I've found 2 typos on the box & palette, the magnets are showing on the inside & there's globs of glue on it. I already reported it. 😑

Feb 17Reply

happyallthetime@shortgirl72 I agree doll! I'm not saying they won't abuse but especially UD pro is amazing & I would never want to loose that plus use means you may be eligible for a campaign if good & well known. Wow could you imagine that risk. To lose a major accomplishment boggles my mind. Lol I so appreciate your story & your right some do abuse pro but you know the people on Merc are not pro & if there are it's very few because of the risk factor!

Feb 17Reply

happyallthetime@shortgirl72 thank you so much hun & please let us all know how Merc handles the situation if you don't mind sharing. I've had others say the same w/Merc. To know the process would be great for all. Also thank you for pointing out that & even I've said it's not everyone but they can come up w/proof through technology 😊 Sephora for KVD & other palettes & for UD Ulta will authenticate for you if needed. Ulta doesn't sell KVD. I had a girl say kvd was from Ulta & I was like 😒 really?

Feb 17Reply

happyallthetime@shortgirl72 OMG it's that bad? How did others give her good reviews? That's a big huge noticeable mess! Wow I'm so sorry hun. What kind of pics did she use?

Feb 17Reply

shortgirl72@happyallthetime yeah it's that bad. The pictures look legit. When I got it, I gave it a quick look over & it looked legit too! The box had the details I was looking for: nice gold foil letter, stars right on the immediate inside of the box & even a serial number! But upon further inspection, I found 2 typos & the glue mess! Some of shades weren't even matte, they had a sheen to them! 😑

Feb 17Reply

drea4445Thank u!!!!

Feb 17Reply

happyallthetime@drea4445 just hope it helps others and it's so great that people are posting the issues so everyone sees them 😊

Feb 18Reply

happyallthetime@janabarksdale I so sorry!! That is so sick! I'm just so glad posh lets me spread the word!!

Feb 18Reply

happyallthetime@tjsmama22 yes doll not everyone is a scammer. I even said in my post 😊. I just want people to know about the ones that do cause it seams to be so many now! Really sad for the real people trying to sell cause the scammers make it very hard to trust anyone anymore.

Feb 18Reply

tjsmama22Very true !!!:) @happyallthetime

Feb 18Reply

happyallthetime@janabarksdale Thank you so much! I've had others be very mean about it. Even over a typo. Lol. I have a big heart ❤️ & Im not claiming to know it all but I am in the business. I've seen what it can do to people with or without skin conditions. I know we all work hard for our money so when I see someone being taken advantage of because they don't want to work hard It just upsets me so much! I wish I could help you. Your story is the worst so far with know way to fix it 😞😡!!

Feb 18Reply

happyallthetime@janabarksdale the nice thing is everyone is also seeing what's happening by others story's too and that is so important! I also thank everyone for their story's cause it's really very eye opening to all!! So again thank you hun cause thats a major to watch out for. Who would think they would wipe out their account for no refund. Thats a super low dirtbag!!! 😡

Feb 18Reply

happyallthetime@janabarksdale yes Hun if you think you like something and your not sure please feel free to let me know & I'll take a look. I do dig too! It's not just a quick glance. Like I said I don't claim to know it all but I do own and am around a lot of makeup every day cause it's my job and I like investigating. I also have a friend that I've teamed up with too.

Feb 18Reply

happyallthetime@janabarksdale I found one the other night that was sooo good it took me a bit but I found it. Some are really good and it really comes down to the smallest details that people wouldn't even think of like font or spacing which is super crazy!

Feb 18Reply

happyallthetime@janabarksdale yes they have a fake vice 2 out for sure! I've seen other limited editions. I'll look to see if anymore are out. You should be safe w/4 & up for a little while but either way I really suggest asking for proof of purchase! If they won't show or skip over the question something is up! I show mine in my listings & send proof of purchase with the item when I sell so you can match my name & store. Are you looking for a specific one that I can check for?

Feb 21Reply

shawndaxcAlso, the words shade to.light will be a little messy, not as clean with the silver behind the writing. & the words will be closer to the edge, like on the edge basically. The casing will be bubbly & not as sleek. Also, there is a serial number bottom left right on the back of the pallette

Feb 22Reply

shawndaxc&& the shadows wont be straight or sleek, they will be un even & kind of messy looking.

Feb 22Reply

happyallthetime@sweetangeln sure hun. Do you have it already? Did you buy it on here?

Feb 22Reply

happyallthetime@sweetangeln that's actually the first one I studied. If you bought it here on a listing you can go to another one of my listings and write the name with no @ and I can do a search to see what I can find that way if you don't want to tip off incase of closing of accounts or I can find a way to give you my second email I use for stuff like this. It's up to you.

Feb 22Reply

happyallthetime@sweetangeln ok can you take pictures of the box back & front also back & front of palette closed. Then the inside mirror & another the palette pans. The Anastasia's are faked to. Do you want me to check out both? It's so sick isn't it and thank you so much. When I learned about fakes it wasn't as huge as it is now.

Feb 22Reply

happyallthetime@sweetangeln just let me know when you have them and I'll let you know how to send them.

Feb 22Reply

happyallthetime@sweetangeln try to use good lighting like in the bathroom with no shadows if possible

Feb 23Reply

happyallthetime@sweetangeln so do you have it or is it being shipped right now? Ebay is crawling with fakes sense they decided not to care anymore a few years ago. People from China are even selling the fakes on there 😞

Feb 23Reply

tracypoppBbwhite98765 Chevk those

Feb 23Reply

lovepink360Hello I am glad I seen this before buying but yet I can't tell a different. I am going to tag u in one can u tell if it's a fake

Feb 25Reply

happyallthetime@lovepink360 I'll check it out now hun

Feb 25Reply

happyallthetime@lovepink360 No! To be specific look at the pans & you'll see lots of metal showing. KVD is pretty perfect when it comes to fill level it's why you pay so much. The metal showing on all 3 bottom pans is not KVD quality! Also even w/crazy coupon discount I use Sephora you could never make money on posh. I was gunna list my top palette but posh cut is to much so I'm going with Merc. Always ask for Proof make sure it says store & purchased not just added to cart.

Feb 25Reply

happyallthetime@lovepink360 I know my pictures don't make sense but you can see how the pans are super pigmented and super full!! It's crazy cause it's all about quality and details!

Feb 25Reply

happyallthetime@lovepink360 I do know the contour well cause I got this as a gift for my niece and studied it a lot before just getting it at Sephora I was gunna put my eye palette up for sale but posh cut gives me no money so that should also clue you in!!

Feb 25Reply

tinymama85Sorry to butt in! One thing I have noticed with all of KVD bigger palettes is they have a magnetic closure. I've seen a couple China fakes now and none have this. That's one question I've learned to ask on here with the KVD palettes. This place is crawling with fakes now that I can spot them. It's sad!

Feb 26Reply

tinymama85@happyallthetime Also I finally posted the innerstellar comparison photos now that I have the dupe and real one ;)

Feb 26Reply

happyallthetime@tinymama85 you are never butting in hun! All comments are welcome. Yes you are correct. I've seen some though that have the magnets showing. I really think when you get it in your hand and the colors are not vibrant & you see lots of metal on pans it's a dead giveaway. Plus nun of the pans should be crooked. I see a lot of crooked pans on fakes.

Feb 26Reply

happyallthetime@tinymama85 you are AMZING!!! I'll check it out and share it. I can't get my hands on a fake for 60 days. I could've payed more to get it quicker but NO WAY!!

Feb 26Reply

tinymama85@happyallthetime Yes on my fakes the pans are crooked in comparison to the real deal!! So on some f the fakes so you mean the magnet is physically visible? You can't see the magnets on my real ones. Do you know if there is an issue with the fakes making it to her smaller palettes like sinner, saint, etc?

Feb 26Reply

happyallthetime@tinymama85 I have not seen the smaller palettes just the large eye palettes & the contour. Yes some have distinctive metal claps showing through the palette on the corner of the mirrors. It's good to know that you see the crooked pans. It's such a big tip off. I've posted a picture of a fake and someone said I don't see the crooked pan. I do believe when you get the product in your hand you will know it's fake.

Feb 26Reply

happyallthetime@tinymama85 I also just wish people would go take a look at it in a store before ever purchasing. It would help a lot of people out and if they can't well I suggest screen shots of palette being sold and a palette from Sephora and I have a side by side app. Like the pictures above. You can tell the difference believe it or not. These expensive palettes are expensive cause they are pretty perfect when produced and not thrown together.

Feb 26Reply

tinymama85@happyallthetime I agree! The real ones are much heavier duty. Not cheaply put together with thin cardboard!

Feb 26Reply

yoashmoJust to let everyone know tonyhab1 is selling definitely fake kvd palettes, nars virtual domination and probably fake glinda and Theodore from UD palettes.

Mar 02Reply

happyallthetime@yoashmo thank you your very sweet about my son. When you kids get sick your heart breaks. There are so many fakes now you wouldn't believe do me a favor go to a site called AliExpress and type in makeup palettes and you won't believe how many fakes there are. A friend of mine told me of this site. It's sick. That's why I say ask for proof of purchase. These people hurt true sellers that just really need to money and take a price cut.

Mar 02Reply

happyallthetime@yoashmo I'm gunna go on and try to pull as many popular ones as I can and post it. Posh gave me a warning cause I asked a girl if she had proof and why something ways off. I guess she reported me and I told posh I wasn't mean I only ask 2 question and I told them why and they said sorry and thank you for explaining.

Mar 02Reply

pwalker7Well good luck and I hope all this talking of each others end cause I'm new to this app and this honestly looks so bad

Mar 05Reply

happyallthetime@pwalker7 I fully agree with you I've asked her for a truce many times. I just did one more time but if she doesn't stop it's going back up cause it's scary and yes I agree this posh has some stuff you need to be careful of!! I'm a good person and care about people and sometimes it sucks.

Mar 05Reply

happyallthetime@clusby75 I do not but will check it out for you if you would like. Can you post some pictures full front, back and box front & back. Just list not for sale and tag me. I can take the pics and screen shot and check them out fully. If I find something off I can post pictures for you as proof comparing so you can get your money back if needed

Apr 14Reply

happyallthetime@clusby75 you can also use my Twitter if you want to send picture so it's privet. It's @HarlowJBD.

Apr 14Reply

happyallthetime@clusby75 I tried to order a fake to compare but it never showed. Hotel waist of $10. Having one is a waist of $10 but it helps others. I'll try again. I did a YouTube on the Too Faced semi sweet chocolate and got major responses and helped many with it! I was shocked!

Apr 14Reply

happyallthetime@kadence35 there is actually a guide on google you can search for the contour palette. I did this because there is no eye palette guide. On the contour I know a big thing is ingredients. Either way toe tell the difference you need s real one and if you don't have one its best to go into Sephora

Apr 18Reply

happyallthetime@kadence35 I have seen a lot lately and I can tell any KVD is off by the colors or the pans not being strait and full. If one pan a little metal that's ok but if more than one its a bit off. What sad is when they first came out you wouldn't see metal on any of them but KVD is getting a little sloppy lately but I still think they are truly easy to spot! If you think for one second something is off go with your gut cause it's normally right.

Apr 18Reply

stupid_cupid@kadence35 I know I'm late to the party, but the fake KVD Shade & Light palettes all have bogus serial numbers. The fake eye palettes all have bogus number: 5103A4356A; the fake face palettes have bogus number: 5211A5148A. The Monarch/Chrysalis palettes all use: 5183C.

May 13Reply

happyallthetime@stupid_cupid how did you figure that one out hun? That would be great if they can be linked by one serial number. It would help a lot!

May 13Reply

stupid_cupid@happyallthetime Research. If you go to Sephora and look at all of the KVD Shade & Light palettes, you'll see that every single one has a different serial number. Then, check out the KVD palettes on MCRI, EBY, and PM. You'll see that like, 90% of the ones listed (from all over the world!) all have those serial numbers. ...which isn't possible.

May 13Reply

happyallthetime@stupid_cupid yes real palettes have different numbers. I never noticed a specific on fakes but I know serials can be faked so I look for the noticeable differences. Pans not full, crooked, bad color, writing difference & ingredients list. I'll start looking at that. I never gave serial a thought cause I know they are faked & have see duplicates but didn't think all fakes would be the same number. I'll take a look at that! I love others that study it : ) thank you! Your comments welcome!

May 14Reply

stupid_cupid@happyallthetime Thanks! There are several ways to spot a counterfeit product; I just find that the serial number is the dead giveaway (assuming a seller posts a photo of it). The others differences are kinda hard to spot without doing a side-by-side comparison, and most people don't know to look for them. I might do a counterfeit-spotting tutorial/infographic.

May 14Reply

happyallthetime@stupid_cupid I've done one on the too faced semi sweet. I tried to get a KVD but it never showed up. Wasting $10 to help others is ok but to waist it for it to not show ups sucks really bad. Lol.

May 14Reply

happyallthetime@stupid_cupid raising awareness to me is major cause I hear so many that say they have no or had no idea fakes are out there and now that brand makeup is the it thing it's so much worse then when it was fake purses. They didn't get rubbed on your skin with chemicals. I think you should! The more awareness the better! I just wish the people that get harmed would take action to stop it as it's illegal and scary!

May 14Reply

stupid_cupid@happyallthetime For what it's worth, I TRULY appreciate social media users (like yourself), who make an effort to inform and educate other users about scams, scammers, and just sketchy, doucheknozzling, LYING sellers! I find dishonesty and bullying and disregard for others health/safety incredibly offensive; any effort to hinder that shiz is welcome (and encouraged!).

May 14Reply

hollywoodcaWhat about (dejabear) I wanted to buy a bundle when like 5 of my sorority sisters all yelled NO!! So IDK?? Help thanks

May 16Reply

happyallthetime@hollywoodca wow that is so weird as someone not on here has mentioned this name to me recently! Tell me that's not a crazy coincidence?? Others are telling you no? Trust your gut hun! 🤔?? I don't know this person but in my own opinion If your meaning to sell I see no reason to not have POP if it's brand new! I can show you POP on all of my items & would expect it and not get defensive as its how it should be 😊

May 16Reply

mrszubrod0905I bought a kvd eye palette from a user on a different site a few months back. Reading this now I found out it's not real because the s/n matches the fake one. I'm so mad! I wish I found this sooner! $30 I can't get back because I deleted my account on the other site and I didn't know it was a fake until now.

May 17Reply

happyallthetime@mrszubrod0905 I soooo sorry. I wish you would've to Hun. These people are sick and greedy thieves!

May 19Reply

proud2beme@happyallthetime have you seen a KVD shade & light eye palette like this one before??? -- https://poshmark.com/listing/Kat-Von-D-Shade-and-Light-Contour-Eye-Palette-5775b710620ff7df2c011143 -- This Seller claims it's 100% authentic, yet I've called KVD myself in CA. The personnel said KVD haven't change their original packaging.

Jul 09Reply

proud2beme@happyallthetime This Seller's palette has BLACK embossed over the gold at the letter "eye" front of palette. I've never seen it like that before. POSHMARK denied my case review and released my money. I am not comfortable with POSHMARK anymore. I was thinking of bringing a class-action lawsuit to this site. POSH denied my case because the Seller provided a receipt of purchase at Sephora.

Jul 09Reply

happyallthetime@proud2beme I can't get it by the link. Can you give the name without a @ in front of it? Wow this thread is long it took me forever to scroll to your post. Lol that's a good thing though. People are really becoming aware.

Jul 09Reply

proud2beme@happyallthetime How do POSHMARK knows that receipt matched with this palette? I've seen Sellers use one receipt over and over again as proof of purchase "authenticate" their 10 fake palettes.

Jul 09Reply

proud2beme@happyallthetime Happy! #pdxcolombiana that's the Seller.

Jul 09Reply

happyallthetime@proud2beme oh honey I need to see this. Can you rage me in it or anyways you can show it to me a different way? I want to help you. I'll give you all the help you need!

Jul 09Reply

happyallthetime@proud2beme if you brought a case it would be amazing and you would win and stop this mess!! I'll do any researchers and help you.

Jul 09Reply

proud2beme@happyallthetime POSHMARK locate in CA, I am in CA. I want to speak with the District Attorney first about this site and how their customer Service resolved "Case Review" without validate facts or evidence. This platform is for scammer and POSHMARK is looking the other way for profits.

Jul 09Reply

happyallthetime@proud2beme can you take a picture and post it on your closet as not for sale please. Then tag me so I can see. They to get as many angles as you can. Front, back, inside and box front back.

Jul 09Reply

proud2beme@happyallthetime I wanted to do this class-action lawsuit, I only want my $31 back to me and all the lawyers cost to pursue this case. The rest of the win will be toward a charity organization of the Judge choice.

Jul 09Reply

proud2beme@happyallthetime Happy, actually this seller's pictures are very clear. You can see it in her closet, look for the listing KVD shade and light with SOLD. It's still there

Jul 09Reply

happyallthetime@proud2beme ok honey give me a second to take a look and then I'm gunna give you a way to get ahold of me so I can send you info to help you! If you bring a case I'm right behind you and will help all the way. To many just let it happen and posh won't take them down when reported. Just give me one second to find it Hun.

Jul 09Reply

happyallthetime@proud2beme you won't believe this but I type in the name and I'm pretty sure she blocked me cause I see nothing. Most that sell fakes block me because I come down on them hard

Jul 09Reply

happyallthetime@proud2beme just to be sure the name is pdxcolombians ?? Are you following this person? Sometimes I can see it that way!

Jul 09Reply

proud2beme@happyallthetime yes! Because I copy and paste, it's the correct spelling. you just need to put @ in front.

Jul 09Reply

happyallthetime@proud2beme I found it. Let me get mine out and look really good than I'll go to the fakes site and see if I can pull the fakes pics for you. Just give me a little bit Hun.

Jul 09Reply

proud2beme@happyallthetime Do you know how to validate the KVD serial code on the back of the palette? The seller keep saying it's an authentic serial code. If you read her comments you could see what she is claiming. At the end of her comments I can see her true face is showing and how desperate she wanted this palette to be sold. Once the money was release and she is RUDE by the end and don't care.

Jul 09Reply

happyallthetime@proud2beme yep the eye should be colored in gold and the shade + light should be flat but shiny not puffy and matte in color and that's just the front of the box. Here is the easy way to do this. Go to Sephora and get it appeased and they will write it for you so you can get your money back quick. Now if you want to do a lawsuit because posh will not take these reports down we can

Jul 09Reply

happyallthetime@proud2beme I tagged you under another of my posts can you go there real quick Hun

Jul 09Reply

happyallthetime@proud2beme yes I can help you. I tagged you on another post so we can talk privet and I'll explain whey once you more there hun
