here_is_vintageHello Steph 👋🏼, ty for the follow 😊. Do you have any tips for a new Posher like myself, I’m about a month and half in of posting items. Any suggestions would be great, ty for your time. Your closet is amazing 💫.

skeeterposhWelcome to Posh! It's an amazing place! Meet my friend @sparrowsage, also in Colorado!

Feb 22Reply

stephsgemsThank you @skeeterposh! Nice to meet you both! @sparrowsage where in Colorado are you?

Feb 22Reply

sparrowsage@stephsgems longmont. You? I lived in Boulder for 20+years, but I wanted to buy and longmont was much much better for that! Hahaha! 😃 @sparrowsage

Feb 22Reply

sparrowsage@skeeterposh are you in Colorado, too ? I don't remember that, but my memory sux. @sparrowsage

Feb 22Reply

stephsgems@sparrowsage I live in Colorado Springs :-) Longmont is beautiful, I've been there several times for jewelry parties. Yes, it's a much better price option for buying a house than Boulder lol!! Nice to 'meet' you!!

Feb 22Reply

skeeterposh@sparrowsage No I am in Texas. I ski every other year though up in the Breckenridge area. I have a sister in Bailey that does the Ren Festival every year. Her and her husband have a leather shop and make beautiful things.

Feb 22Reply

sparrowsage@stephsgems nice to meet you, too! @sparrowsage

Feb 22Reply

sparrowsage@skeeterposh I love that stuff! No snowboarding for me anymore. Well, only blues and that's still a risk. I had a jacked up ankle surgery this summer that's leaving me permanently impaired. Snowboarding is all ankles and i don't ski. 😕😣

Feb 24Reply

stephsgems@frannyzfinds thank you! Everyone has been super supportive, I love that! The separate jewelry listings are from my old business that closed in December 2014 (lia sophia) The jewelry that I have styled in some of my pictures, is my new company, adornable.u. Women empowering other women is so important to me, so to come to Posh and see it working that way here is more amazing to me than you know!! It's just what I needed!! THANK YOU again for the info, kindness, and welcome!! xoxoxo

Feb 24Reply

katzkoz! Welcome to Posh! You'll find this is a very supportive and social community and if you have any questions, there's always a Posher to help. Or, just come in my closet & I'd be happy to help!! SHARING is KEY! When you "share" an item to your "followers", it goes into the " feed" for them to see it. So, the more followers... the more that item is seen! Therefore...the more followers, the more potential sales! Get it??👍💟

shansfitness@stephsgems Hi! You have an absolutely adorable closet! You have such a way of taking photos. I have to get better at it. I starting listing about 1.5 weeks ago and I'm so.stinking addicted. I am having an absolute blast.

Apr 07Reply

stephsgems@shansfitness I think you have a great closet! If I may make a suggestion, I think the only thing you need is to take your pics in a little brighter light. I don't have great light in my house but I bought a white art canvas from Hobby Lobby (on sale) and lay most of my stuff on that! It brightens it instantly. Someone also suggested a white poster board, too. Everything else looks great, good luck to you and reach out anytime! I'm addicted, too LOL!! 💖😄💖😄💖

Apr 07Reply

shansfitness@stephsgems Thank you!! That is a GREAT idea! I live in a late 1800's Victorian Era home. It's beautiful but the lighting is awful!! That will help tremendously. Thanks for all of the shares ❤❤❤

stephsgems@vlsavell yes using computer is best for copy/paste and keeping lists of who you want to tag. I use phone mostly for following, listing my stuff, and sharing other listings from the feed. I use my iPad and laptop for sharing my own items, it's much faster 😄
