@shereje good morning, I would definitely judge your size according to the measurements. I am a misses 16 and the 1X fits me loosely with a good deal of room to spare. I would say the 3X fits like an 18/20. I just sold the 2X this week & they loved it. It's gorgeous. Hope this helps! Feel free to ask any further questions. π
