@erynn272 sorry for the delay! It measures 40.5" across the entire top, NOT including the strings. I'm a size four and it fits me, but it will fit a very wide range of pant sizes up to a 40" waist since you just wrap it

@lrad2187 hey again Laura! I measured the large for you. All the way open, the waist band measures 43" (not including the strings) and folded over 3 times (the way you'd be wearing it) it's 18.5" across laying flat. However, these measurements are pretty lax because of the tie, you're able to have a bit of adjustment room

@aso123 ohh okay well it really just depends where you wear it. The entire top unwraps so it's open, so you can wear it at whatever point you'd like. I'm 5'6 and wearing it about mid rise, or where most of my pants hit, and the medium is good. I haven't tried on the small though! 😊
