@rockinthered This is definitely a great, versatile winter coat that'll keep you protected from the cold winds. Material is made with wool and the sleeves are genuine leather. The coat has a good weight to it so it should definitely keep you warm while you're traveling. I used to live in NYC and traveled pretty extensively throughout Western & Northern Europe. I think you can't go wrong with this on your pack list.

@trixalina I'm petite sized and it fits similarly to how the model wears it. Long enough in the back to cover the bum but not too long to feel like it's oversized or a dress coat. I'm currently traveling so I can't provide exact measurements but it shouldn't be too long on you. Hope that helps (for now!)
