@emilyvance20 hi Emily- it is not see through it has a slip attached underneath. I put the small on my mannequin and with the straps extended all the way (b/c) they are adjustable it is approx 34" from the shoulder to the hem. I hope that helps. I can tell you it's not a short mini.
