chicknthesticks @schoomkie I'm sure it was the reason why Posh increased the shipping cost. These boxes are free, for heaven's sake; how hard is it to pick up or order the right ones? Thanks for your hard work at the post office. That's a thankless job, winter, summer, rain and snow. Thank you!

chicknthesticks @gavden Right on, Erica! I'm glad this helped. Just remember to always use the plain envelopes and boxes that just say "Mailing Box" or "Mailing Envelope." if it says the word "Rate" anywhere, it's the wrong one. Good luck and Happy Poshing! ☺

chicknthesticks @schoomkie Hmmmm... My post office just told me the only other ones we can use are the Mil-Pac ones. I'll have to ask about the regional flat rate. But just to be on the safe side, let's all use the plain ones. ☺️ EVERY single package I got this week was in a flat rate box! And people got upset when Posh raised their shipping cost. It's our own fault.

chicknthesticks @schoomkie But Posh increased by a dollar, where the post office only increased by15¢. Posh consistently pays our overages whenever a flat rate box is used. Actually, they should deduct that from those sellers along with their 20%. I'm sure it adds up to quite a pretty sum. It's what I'd do, but I'm a grumpy old woman ☺️

swallowtails Robynne, 😜 yikes❣ I have used the flat rate box. Sorry😢 This information is fantastic! I have a question: sometimes I print out a label that says priority 2 day and the same day I print out someone else's' label and it says priority 3 day why the difference? Is this because of the choice of the buyer?

I didn't think I needed to do that if I were sending questions directly in your listing. Is tagging a person the only way that the comment shows up in their newsfeed?

chicknthesticks @swallowtails As far as I can tell, yes. I would have missed you altogether if it hadn't been for another comment. It's weird, though, wouldn't you think it would show up if it was in the person's closet? Also, I wish the closet name would type itself, like when you hit reply. Some closets have lots of numbers that I can't possibly remember 😠

swallowtails @chicknthesticks it would be nice if it did automatically show up in newsfeed when you're typing directly in the person's listing without having to type their name too. I did notice up above my comments, there were some conversations that you had where they did not tag your name first. I'm guessing you saw those because you were already in that particular listing.🙃

swallowtails @chicknthesticks Having the name there with a reply button would be great! I know what you mean about trying to remember their names/numbers. On my desktop computer I can copy @ paste. That helps greatly. I've noticed, if somebody has "liked" a listing, their name pops up as a choice to just touch it and it'll complete the typing. It would be nice if there were a couple of tweaks to the computer programming so that these things were easier. But, overall, I'm pleased with Poshmark.❣😀

sandyleelou @swallowtails .... The 2 & 3 day label difference is just different parts of country your package is going to ... If they are closer to you .. 2 days ... Further from you ... 3 days

ses54 @chicknthesticks This is good to know Bc I've been guilty of this! I thought priority meant priority! I even ask my postman which ones were priority & he directed me to any that said that on them. "Priority!" Hmmm

joannk @chicknthesticks thanks for the tip about turning flat rate boxes inside out, never thought of that. I get do many, and hate to throw them out. I've tried outting tape over them or marker but always get in trouble from the post man. They never told me that at the pist ofgice when I told them about all the flat rate I had. Sad that I couldn't recycle. Now I can. Thanks!!!
