@gatorgurlr6 I love posh... My daughter got me started. Now I have her closet .mine, my nieces, my HS friends, and a new friends'. I am having fun with it. I enjoy The photos, modeling, describing, etc I've sent my friends & family the money that they earned, so they are very happy w/me. I've also been able to buy things for myself w/ the extra from my closet. I love fabrik, it's one of my favorite stores but I am obsessed w/ fabulina!

@steffi3tmc I agree with you on the Fab'rik! It really wasn't my "style" until recently however the clothing is beautiful! I have lots of things in my closet at home but have largely just given them all away. I just haven't found the time and energy to list and describe things. I give you a lot of credit for having such a passion for that! It sounds like you have been a real blessing to others around you!! ๐บ๐๐๐

I was born and raised in Israel high Humidity & borderline uncomfortable heat degrees where sometimes you feel like it's hard to breath. Then I moved to Cali and married my American hubby and got spoiled with the nice weather and cool breeze. So anything extreme like Atlanta or israel is unbearable for me hahahaha. Do you like it more in Atlanta or Florida?

I've not been yet but will like to go some day. I understand about extreme weather. I'm so glad we don't have massive snow here though. Or if we do it's only once every few years. I love Florida but don't miss the high heat in the summer and 100% humidity. I think I still love it because it looks and smells like "home" if that makes sense?

Hi Kim, @gatorgurlr6 i'm probably butting in, and you didn't ask for my help, but I'm going to impart some information that may help you sell your Fabulina. One of the greatest things about Fabulina jewelry, is their guarantee! If anything goes wrong it can be returned to Fabula and they will repair or replace. It makes buying them a no-brainer. PS I have thought about 12 of them and had to send two In for repair. They make good on their promise. It's worth noting, I think

I wish my husband was a mechanic, or even mechanically inclined. The best kind of job to have. My husband is a lawyer, and deals in personal injury. Mostly accident cases so maybe they should have each other's number anyway! @gatorgurlr6

@steffi3tmc well. We could have used him in June when our car was rear ended on 78 and 285. Both of us have had a lot of pain. But duh. We didn't know we should have had a lawyer. Oh well. Live and Learn! My husband fixes more mechanical things than auto body. Still had to take the car to Acura for all the damage. ๐ค๐ค๐ค

@bellaturner16 thanks Gina! I hope you do too. I was at a posh fest a couple weeks ago and they said list 2-5 new items a day. I've been doing that and whatever the reasons...something in the analytics in posh....it helps with visibility. Also sharing your own closet 3-5 times a day. I thought that was selfish but I've learned to do it! Lol. Also what you're doing sharing others. Following others. It all helps! I think you're pretty awesome too!!๐โค๏ธ๐๐โ๏ธ

AWESOME love your tips. I have been watching & reading. I love to learn new tips. Tips work I sell omnitrition and they run sales calls for training new distributors and to improve the older ones. When you apply it the tips works. So if you see or think I should be doing something to help me and you please send the loves! Let's grow this to the max! Yes so right! I been selling all my life lol. My full time job is mortgages and I am part time with omnitrition and will be filling in the rest of my hours with this! I got hook on Tradesy and bought a Louie for Christmas well my fiancรฉe did for me lol ๐ I started thinking if I sell some stuff I can buy new things. But the locate sites are impossible. On Saturday my niece told me about Poshmark. It was funny I been adding one a new a night. I did not know that is one of the tips.

I will share as I go. I was thinking if you make business cards when you send an item that is purchase it is much nicer if they have your information at there finger tips. Instead of trying look for you again. Or go to the purchase they made to find you.
I need to make a twitter account for this. FB is to flooded with people getting stuff on there pages. People get annoyed I don't even talk about mortgages or say I do that on FB

But others may want them though--it seems like a good idea. However I know a lot of people do twitter. I've not ventured into that world at all. I have not sold one thing on Tradesy yet. I sold on locate site two things and got people saying they want it and don't show up. I have no patience for that!
The Coach bag and sun glasses I sold on here Sunday was quick and easy. I love it no hassle and ship this morning early. I would have done it Monday but I was unsure of the box to use and was nervous since it was my first sale. I wanted it to be right! Super worried I am a perfectionist.

Vista print can make the business card cheap. And maybe we put some thing the card that says if the order again from you they can $10 off some thing or something like that. It creates an incentive to shop in your closet. Especially if the person is a new Posha! I have a few other ideas too...have to think them thru though. I am a twitter person that is a whole another world lol

He's a top rated seller on there and my hope is to start a Boutique on here so we have more family time since he does that on top of working 9 to 5. @lisac53 hey you! Yes. So the shopping can be lowered if you have kept the same price for over a week and then lower it by 11%. The shipping will be 4.99. I think Jewelry may be 3.99. Sometimes a posher and you may decide that the item you have listed for 20 you will sell for 18. If you decrease the price versus accept the offer they get better shipping. Does that make sense? It takes communication and usually both people have to know how it works and plan ahead.

Quick question, is there a glitch (or program) that can show someone is sharing the same item repeatedly from my closet, looks like maybe every 8 min or so? When I look at that persons shares, it only shows that item shared once, but it's been doing it for 2 days & clogging my news feed. I've never seen or had this happen before. It looks odd. Any ideas? Thanks so much!

@dkayscloset hey there. I've not had it happen like that exactly before. I have had something shared say...someone shared 5 things and it shared each each one 100 times. It stopped though. I would recommend emailing posh support with the issue. The program does get glitchy. Just like any computer that gets a virus or gets stuck. They can look on the server. It will take 2-4 days. So be patient. That's the best I've got.

@boots_fun hello! Thank you for the high praise!! And congrats for coming on over to posh. It's fun here and I'm sure like eBay it's a lot of work. We have never been on another platform so I am not an expert on comparing the two. As far as SU status you have to be on posh minimum of 3 months with 10 successful sales. Once your 3 months passes you fill out the app on the posh blog. It takes 1-3 months to be approved. They won't consider you if you sell unapproved items. Just FYI. ๐น๐น๐น

@boots_fun well maybe if you were naked. Lol!! ๐๐. j/k. Posh has a list. They don't approve household goods, unused makeup, used underwear, flammable liquids like nailpolish even if NWT. I think eBay allows which is why if you want SU it will hold you back if you have them in your "sold" items. I do believe there's a full list on the FAQ. Or on the blog now. I think sometimes people just don't know and then don't get "approved". Then have to wait another 3 months!! Yikes!! ๐ค๐ค๐ค

@lsvice hello Lynda and welcome to posh! Woot!! No question is a dumb silly or stupid one. Posh is a little difficult to navigate at first. Trust me! I know! ๐๐. You can share anything as many times as you want. Same item 100 times. If you want! However unless it's a party it only goes to your specific followers. In a party it goes to everyone. That said; by no means does every single item we share hit a feed. It's a percentage.

Since you're new my suggestion usually is always share at least one thing if someone has shared or followed you. The next thing is the biggest! You must share your own closet at least 3 times a day

@lsvice doesn't matter times per se. However first thing in the morning, then 3pm is a busy time and the busiest is 10pm party. (Even according to posh analytics). If you can't stay awake until 10
Share right before bed. Just share!! ๐๐. Ok this is now a book....sorry!!

Sure you follow at least several hundred people a day that have similar interest as yours. Share their closet-an item or two. Always share your own closet 3 times a day. The more people you follow the likelier someone will buy as you will have more people looking at your closet. The 10pm party. Share into that one always. Never miss. (Unless you fall asleep). @jellojillfl hello! The only way to lower shipping is to hope the item you have will get reduced shipping if you decrease the price by 10%. I've emailed posh-none of my items get reduced ship anymore. They say it's a complex algorithm for the reduced ship. So you can try to reduce by 10% and tell the buyer they may have reduced ship. Or may not. The only time you're guaranteed to have reduced ship is when they do CCO.

@jellojillfl CCO was last weekend and is usually at least once a month. I'm sure it will happen over Labor Day since it's usually holidays they do this. Also if you reduced a price then increase it back up then the reduced ship will only show up if you decrease it lower than your last lowered price. Does this help? Or make sense? ๐ค๐ค

I decreased had reduced ship and could tell the buyer that. Not anymore. Yep. They get their fair share--so now if it's stuff I really don't want to decrease I just wait for CCO. Lesson learned. ๐๐

Kim, have you ever gotten a bad review you didn't deserve? Is there any recourse? Everyone gives me 5 stars and the bag I sent had a TSA LOCK I didn't even know about. She blasted me for stains that don't exist. I had bought it from someone on Facebook Marketplace and didn't even know Vera Bradley bags have locks.

@annrut this has been a tough storm. We here in Atlanta have had it tough but by far our Florida has suffered greatly. Being a native Floridian I am praying for my home state and family daily. My entire family is currently without power or water. No school. All generator power backup. It makes me very sad. I do pray your brothers are well. I know being Gators they are tough cookies!! โค๏ธโค๏ธโค๏ธ๐ท๐ท๐ท๐๐๐

@gatorgurlr6 They are both okay. They don't have generators or gas in their cars, but they prepared by getting their grills ready, so they are able to cook. I'll pray your family gets power back soon.

@annrut yes. It turned away from the Carolinas. I'm so glad. And glad to hear about your brothers! Living in Gainesville we always felt "safe" since we were so far inland. It just seemed this time no one was spared from some rain some wind some floods etc. in Florida. It's a heck of a thing. ๐๐
