outer_awesome I love ur pink bike..awesome. And your sense of style is great too. I also like things that are a little different. If u wud like, please visit my closet. I have some vintage items (boots) and some boho type items along with wigs (Not costume wigs). U might see something u like, although I have tried not to part with any of my really offbeat clothes, even if they don't fit. It's hard to get rid of those 😊

It's a soft pink with silver mica, ghost pearl flames that show depending on how the light hits it, and it's all top coated with a coat of sheer purple. It's my baby LOL. And yes! That is my artwork! I have a lot of skulls too. What book did you do? Nice to meet you as well! I do get colored furs. Sold an awesome green fox piece recently. When I get colored ones I'll put them here and tag you, so you get 1st dibs.

liongypsy @2blkhorses I have several wet specimens and when I was living at home the Post Master used to tease my mom when she'd pick up a package with my name on it that it was probably shrunken heads or something and freak my mom out LOL. Oh yeah, you HAVE to be cautious. Luckily I know most of my sellers personally so that helps. Oh yes!! Definitely tag me! I'm on a mom budget but every now and again I get to treat myself haha!

It's called "The Stories of Flowers" and there are a few pieces in it centered around the beauty of the corpse. I have an affinity for the beauty of each cycle of life.

liongypsy @wwest1635 I think it just depends on how much you really want the piece. It's super hard to find and she's not exactly ready to part with it so what it's worth is up to the both of you. I don't find offers rude - I just counter with my lowest but I know some people get offended. I try to hold out for one that fits my budget but I know when it's super rare it's hard. I got STUPID lucky and paid $20 for mine but it was a total accident when I found it lol!!

I was thinking take a few rows of tulle from the bottom to hem it to open the sides up as well to even out the rest of the bodice. I've been consulting with another seamstress friend of mine for ideas LOL!

Definitely recommend stages with a 20 developer though and restoration masks in-between. AG Hair Food is my bestie leave-in conditioner after a bleach job haha!

Generally I will wrap it up within the piece if i don't have anything or I'll wrap it around a piece of cardboard with the fringe in the inside so the fabric protects it.

I had some health issues pop up that I've been dealing with and I've actually started to lose some weight too so the corset will be perfect. I've been hand tacking the loose ruffles in my little spare time lol!! Going to replace the zipper and add a corset. I was also considering building a lining for the dress in like a cotton twill to add support for the exterior fashion fabrics so it holds up to being corseted.

liongypsy @spacyjamminer oh that is super fun!! I'm originally from TN so it was an adjustment but I've been here over 10 years now and I love it! I do miss not having below 0 weather though haha! There's actually a Bennington VT as well and I spend a lot of time there! It's so nice that he still gets to visit 😊

liongypsy @reann1983 Yeah, in my opinion, that's a very rough pattern and should've been free if that's the entirety of it. It's possible the whole PDF didn't make it over because there's no info on materials, gauge, hook sizing, etc.

reann1983 @liongypsy Hello. Its made by a size 3, 3.25 or 3.5 crochet needle. Depending on her preference. It is not made on a loom. There is a list which notes the exact yarn used and how many skeins you will need. It should be in the very beginning of the directions, on a grid. This is the response I received from her this morning. I’m not sure what to think of it.
