carleyburger @x16sydneynicole hmm.. well i'm not sure about the sizing down, but I know Hunters don't come in half sizes. my typically shoe size is an 8.5 and the 9's didn't fit as well as the 8's. .. I hope that helps :) so maybe if you're a half size it would be a better option to size down

carleyburger @kdtrh2 hey girl! i'm actually a size 8.5-9 depending on the brand, and 9's were too big for me but would probably fit if I wore thicker socks or wore these with the wellies but i'm not sure. these fit me perfectly when I wear a thinner sock and no wellies, which I wanted for leggings! so I guess it depends on how you would like to wear them :) let me know if that helps with your question!

carleyburger @katieoconnell02 girl, that's the story of my life haha ... I wore them all day for class at penn state and I also wore them in the snow! I would wear thicker socks for the snow to keep my toes warm though :) but absolutely these are comfortable in my opinion

carleyburger @katieoconnell02 i'm typically a size 8.5-9 and I went with an 8 for these! I think it also depends if you plan on wearing thick socks all the time. when I wore thick socks these were definitely tight on my feet, but I opted to wear thin socks the majority of the time and they were perfect. I hope that helps :) I would only suggest staying 'true to size' if you have bigger calf muscles. that was a main reason for me to size down
