trenton52908 I bought this wallet myself from a coach store, There wasn't a "checkbook insert" in the wallet. I'm not sure what light marks you're talking about, I'm guessing you're referring to the light reflection off the leather from the lamp above..And it's a USED wallet, there are marks on the inside as stated in the description. If you want something different, then look elsewhere!!!!!! Thanks so much!
