@hounestine2 I can assure you these are very sparkly. Yes they are crystal and post is surgical steel. Crystal keeps their shine but you shouldn't get products like shampoo etc. in them. Even diamonds need cleaning.

1. The post seems to be a tiny bit thicker than my earrings post.
2. The post comes out of the center.
