This is absolutely beautiful and it's made from silver wire it has strips the black beads on it and it shines beautifully has three basic strands are connected into one as shown in the picture in the back by lobster clasp. It's also a matching set of earrings that does come with this I took a picture of one of them for you it's a basic hook back dangle & dangle's about an inch long. Does the necklace have an extender? I usually wear an 18" necklace.
