Is a list of seller fees for your viewing. Have you ever made an offer and wondered why it wasn't excepted? It's happened to all of us! Many don't know the seller fees and I think it is important to post this. I also have the shipping fees included, as well. Sometimes the seller may not be able to except the offer because with the fees, included it may be too low for her. It's not because she's being mean it's simply because some really can't go that low. Love all!! I hope this helps bring light

Is this listing inappropriate? Report Listing

allyoop23What an excellent idea! Ive seen so many buyers lowball cuz I dont think they realize how much Posh takes

Apr 27Reply

restlessangel@allyoop23 , that is one of the big reasons why I put it up. It was simply to educate. I don't want people to think I'm mean because I can't go that low but I just want them to simply understand that I will go to the lowest I can . it's just sometimes , I can't get past the fee. I do not mind paying 20% to posh Mark because they take care of me. But that fee is there and others do need to know. Hugs again! Stay beautiful my friend! 🌹

restlessangel@tammycb2 , it helps. ❤️💛❤️ hugs.

May 30Reply

matadora1978Very informative..specially for newbies or strick buyers😊

May 31Reply

lyss91Sharing this because I've received too many lowballs lately! So frustrating on the seller end!

Jun 01Reply

restlessangel@jina123 , actually if you want to just copy it and post it in your closet go right ahead I just screenshot poshmark's seller rules and put it in there. If it helps honey go ahead and just copy and paste it and put it in your closet. Hugs. I does help to educate as some really don't understand the fee process. 💛

Jun 01Reply

samsteedThanks so much for posting this I'm new to Poshmark so this really helps obviously I read the rules but nothing was posted that was easily accessible about the shipping yes the shipping is covered up to five pounds but I could not find out how much it will cost over 5 pounds I just thought when I shipped it if it was over 5 pounds I just pay the difference at the post office!

Aug 01Reply

samsteedWell I was dead wrong I cannot believe how much they charge 4 the different shipping rates that is not at all how much it cost to ship something 6 pounds or over! It is not fair that they take the money out of your earnings I think it should be you pay the difference at the post office

Aug 01Reply

samsteedor if they can accept that that we pay the shipping. We make the shipping prices depending on how much it's actually going to cost at the post office you know what I mean? But thank you so much again for posting this it is open my eyes!

Aug 01Reply

restlessangel@samsteed , I completely understand about the shipping charges. I actually had a 12 pound order one day. This is why I posted this up. I wanted to help others and of course remind people of the fees. The shipping was outrageous.. and now I found out an easier way to do it. When ever you get an order that is over 5 pounds,

Aug 01Reply

restlessangelmake a listing only for an extra shipping label. (Those are actually just good to have in your closet anyways just in case somebody has a bigger order.. They can't bundle it though of course.. (That did happen to me also.. Tee-hee) let them know that if anything is over the five pounds, you will post a listing up that they can buy for three dollars plus the

Aug 01Reply

restlessangelshipping fee to cover the extra charges. (You will make .05 cents off of the $3.00😜) it will though save you a crazy amount of problems and if they don't want to spend that money on shipping you can always discount their order seven dollars. :) I hope this helps and feel free to copy. 😊

Aug 01Reply

samsteed@restlessangel that's a really good idea! Thank you so much for the tip for real! You're so sweet by the way! I can't imagine how much it was for the 12 pounds and over shipment, and I cannot believe you only make $0.05 off of $3 that is ridiculous! Are you on that Mercer website?

Aug 01Reply

samsteed@restlessangel I've been on there and they don't take a fee in the cellar post what they want to pay for shipping and what shipping carrier they would like to use which I like that a lot it's just I haven't had any luck selling anything yet but it's okay it's only been two weeks!

Aug 01Reply

restlessangel@samsteed , yes I'm on that one also but just here and there. I think I have like 15 listings. You are correct about the time it takes to sell on there and everybody wants things for hardly anything but I think it's because the site is set up very similar to a garage sale site.

Aug 01Reply

restlessangelIt's hard whenever you have a brand-new items on there and somebody wants it for very little though I do like the fact that there is no fee. That does help. The only real problem I do have with that app though , is they have terrible seller protection. Awful buyer protection, too. For example , I have purchased something on the site . Someone sent me a pair of used pantyhose instead of a Betsey Johnson hat. I wouldn't

Aug 01Reply

restlessangelrate them and sought after support. .. The seller wanted me to spend more money on the shipping label so she could ship me the right item and I thought that this was completely unfair . I have been very reluctant to ever buy again off the site. I have a few friends that are on there that I have heard absolute horror stories from. So I list my least expensive items or preowned there. I don't mind paying the 20% here to posh Mark since their buyer and seller protection is AMAZING! I

Aug 01Reply

restlessangelhave had situations to where they ruled and both of our favors and gave me my earnings and refunded the buyer because it was a miscommunication. They are very fair. They really speak volumes in how they step in and handle situations and it's very

Aug 01Reply

restlessangelcomforting. I would always go and take pictures of every item that you pack for protection , though and this is just if you ever had a situation to where you need it. (It only takes a minute and it is always good to be prepared) .. I also always take a picture of the label and the box showing that I put it in the right shipping box with the right label put on the box to help. (You never know what can happen selling on

Aug 01Reply

restlessangel@samsteed ... Continued still (lol..a novel) the Internet so it's always important to protect yourself).. Anything you ever need help with I will be more than happy to be here for you as your Poshmark friend. Also to get more sales, it's vital that you share everyday. I know that this is time-consuming but it does get your items out there. I share at least 200 items from the feed a day. This is a minimum. In return the ladies that I share reciprocate

Aug 01Reply

restlessangeland share mine helping my items get seen by more people since whenever we share an item and it goes to our followers. Helping them helps me and vice versa. As I am sharing from the feed I will flip my closet so I can get as many items out and about as I can since people nine times out of 10 will always share the first 10 items you have. I hope this helps and always be posh compliant

Aug 01Reply

restlessangelsee you can get host pictures. Whenever you are a part of Poshmark for three months after you write in, they will put you on the list to have your first posh Mark party which will send thousands of ladies in and out of your closet. Also after three months you have the opportunity to become suggested user and go on the posh Mark wheel which is pretty neat because every single time I've been on the wheel (in the feed the lady's pics saying to follow to grow your network..

Aug 01Reply

restlessangelThat's it but it's you) it is worth building and advancing on Poshmark which is another thing that I like. Your closet is it redundant it's constantly growing and I think that that is so neat. Harder you work the more you sell the quicker you grow and then finally you'll get to a point to where things just come easier and easier and easier. I hope this helps and I wish you much success and

Aug 01Reply

restlessangel@samsteed , seriously I am always here if you need someone. Welcome the community. It will become addicting! I know that you will do well. 😘

Aug 01Reply

samsteed@restlessangel thank you so much I write novels too don't worry laugh out loud that is another great idea taking pictures of the items that are packaged and taking a picture of the box with the shipping label once again thank you so much for that advice I would have never thought of that just because I would never think I would have any problems you know what I mean?

Aug 01Reply

samsteed@restlessangel but at the same time I know there is people out there that will try to do anything they can to keep the product without paying for it. Yes I've heard some horror stories on that website too! I've seen a girl try to sell a dollar powder compact that you can buy at Walmart for $10 plus $4 and shipping! I cannot believe people try to rip off other people like that it's just crazy!

Aug 01Reply

samsteed@restlessangel I did not know that that website didn't have good buyer protection or Seller Protection that does suck I have bought a few items from there and so far so good actually it's been quite great except for one pair of Nike tennis shoes that were supposed to only been worn once

Aug 01Reply

samsteed@restlessangel was Warren way more than once she tried to tell me they were too small on her that she wore a size nine-and-a-half to a 10 but I should have known better and went and looked at other listings and see what size she actually was. They were in great condition still but I just wish you would have been honest I still would have bought them I just went and paid the price I did I would at least paid $10 less do you know what I mean?

Aug 01Reply

samsteed@restlessangel I am greatly appreciate you offering to help me and all of us that he'd given me thus far I tried to be kind and honest with people like you have been with me your honesty and willingness to help is loved! And I was wondering about all that host pick stuff is that mean you're a celebrity on Poshmark or what? Laugh out loud and I get that if you really want to do good on this website you have to put the work in

Aug 01Reply

samsteed@restlessangel but I just now learned how to share a listing I thought you would have to share on your social media not on the actual Poshmark website! Laugh out loud how I found this site is looking for shoes forum better price then the Retailer's listing and once I learned what this website was I fell in love!

Aug 01Reply

samsteed@restlessangel do you really share over 200 listings minimum a day? How are you ever not on your phone then that's crazy but hey if you have as much stuff to sell as you do I get it I just have a bunch of shoes that I've never worn or only worn once or twice that I needed to sell so I can make room for new shoes is laugh out loud I am a shoe whore for sure!!

Aug 01Reply

restlessangel@samsteed , awee. lol! Yes totally don't mind my long texts. I use the voice application on my phone and I will just rant and rant LOL! Haha! So much easier than typing so excuse my AutoCorrect part too.. LOL. But yes they definitely make you work on

Aug 01Reply

restlessangelhere but it does get so much easier and once I hit the suggested user, OMG! Everything just started going crazy like this week alone I have had 11 sales! I am so happy because it's back to school shopping for me and having so many children my goodness I need it! Haha! I will always be here to help another and pass forward the help that I received from wonderful ladies on this site.

Aug 01Reply

restlessangelAs far as the host pictures go and the parties go, it is a total perk for doing good. Like little promotions or something. For all of your hard work and for being compliant you do get rewarded and I think that that is really awesome since most sites don't ever offer that @samsteed

Aug 01Reply

restlessangel@samsteed , after my 100 sale, Posh Mark sent me a thank you card! Have a picture of it here in my closet and even though yes it was a runoff copied card.. It was hand written & through all of my years of selling online I have never received a thank you. It truly meant so much to me!

Aug 01Reply

restlessangel@samsteed , I just couldn't believe it. It made me realize that this site is more than just another app. I like that feeling and I loved that comfort. I loved also being shown that my hard work had been acknowledged.

Aug 01Reply

restlessangel@samsteed , and yes you kind of become a celebrity for the night! The 7 PMpst 10pm est party is in your honor with couple other cohosts. It's really nice because you actually get a theme. You go and you search through so many closets here

Aug 01Reply

restlessangelon posh Mark and you fit the theme and pick the best pictures that you can find for that theme. Nor Only is it fun, not only do you get to meet more amazing women and see all the hidden treasures on Poshmark, you get a chance to show new closets off that are most deserving, help others and learn fashion. My theme was style staples. Just finding style Staples wasn't exactly easy because I had to stay away from statement pieces and things like that and be simple but not basic. It was cool!!

Aug 01Reply

restlessangel@samsteed , I can't wait for you to get these things. You really will have a fun time. Whenever you put up your first follower game tag me and I'll tag some wonderful ladies and it little get it going and that will also help run ladies in and out if your closet that I have never been there before. It's so much fun and then you actually get to feel that posh love thing that everybody talks about. So neat. Yes, the perks of doing right are FAB!

Aug 01Reply

restlessangel@samsteed , The easiest way to share is not by phone. I have the hardest time sharing fast from my phone and that's really what we want to do we want to share as fast as we can and get through it because it does take time.

Aug 01Reply

restlessangel@samsteed , I grab my computer, I lower the screen resolution to 50%. Since I lower it to 50% it lets me share more items without having to scroll down. I use a mouse on my PC and just cluckity click click! Haha! Sharing 200 items takes me literally about 15 minutes max. I can share 1000 items in an hour-ish.. It's really worth the profit though because once the sale start coming in and no you may not get some every day but you will and you will build it that way.. It's worth it. :)

Aug 01Reply

restlessangel@samsteed , for me. My favorite sharing times arm in the morning while I'm having my coffee. At lunch whenever the kids are sitting down and eating & party times. Whenever it's party time I shared to both my

Aug 01Reply

restlessangel@samsteed , followers and the party that is a double click on each item but worth it. I started out and would get a sale every week and a half & now, it has just grown like

Aug 01Reply

restlessangelcrazy. First three months were a bit slow but after that everything really starting adding up. I wish you much success and seriously keep up the good work you're going to do great. :) ps.. I'm a "bag whore" so I understand! LMBO!! I love accessories! :) If I can get a matching pair of shoes to my bag and my belt I am over the moon!!!

Aug 01Reply

divineessenceThank you so much for posting this! It's so nice someone does that because it's tough with so many people wanting items that are next to new for little to nothing, making it not really worth it for the sellers! It's tough because of course we want both parties to be satisfied! Goodness. You shared it in such a tactful way so it doesn't come off offensive to anyone too. I see you're in Orange park! Im still learning Jax. Your inner beauty shines through all of your posts & your closet! 😍😇🙃🤓

divineessenceYesss! Wow a posh n sip! I am actually really new. I've only been using posh now for about a month but I created it forever ago. I had no idea what I was even doing, I just kept the app on my phone. Haha but then all of a sudden I got sucked in! Lots of reading & research to create a posh compliant closet..I just went to town! Thank you! I definitely want to start doing some posts like that! Hehe

Sep 01Reply

restlessangel@kitcat77 , I put this in my closet and you are more than welcome to screenshot it, as it is straight and direct from Poshmark. Is there a fee chart for both shipping labels and for seller fees and this will help

Jan 24Reply

restlessangelyou determine your prices whenever you list. If there is anything at all that I can do to help and any questions that I can answer please feel free to contact me. @kitcat77. MANY HUGS! What I normally do if I get more than 7 pounds in a box is I just go ahead and charge the three dollars and get a another label purchased as it's just cheaper

Jan 24Reply

restlessangelthat way in shipping. I hope that this will help you if you get a large bundle in the future to be able to work out the shipping as I did it the other way one time and it was just so hard LOL. Wasn't aware of their shipping fee increase. @kitcat77

vtgcovergirlGreat information for newcomers to hear about, and hopefully consider!

Dec 03Reply

tccmo20% and the astronomical shipping is the downside of poshmark. There should be a lower rate for small jewelry items. It does not cost $6+ to ship earrings.

Jan 01Reply

tccmo@samsteed agree. $6+ to ship earrings is highway robbery.

Jan 01Reply

restlessangel@tccmo , omg, i AGREE.

Jan 01Reply

restlessangel@tccmo , IT , i feel hurts smaller sales. Like Baby items, for example & trinkets accessories. I would LOVE to buy some items that I have seen & they are a good price on here but the shipping just ruins it & then knowing the fee is 20% to the seller, I am reluctant to put in an offer. There DEF needs to be a lower shipping cost for smaller items. I feel sales, would be better. Makeup is another.

Jan 01Reply

your_fashionsWould mind if I use this hun?

Feb 25Reply

restlessangel@hayangle2 absolutely , my friend! Oh, it’s a really important post I feel and many don’t read into the Poshmark info to ever see it. Please go ahead and use it as you need screenshot it and post in your closet as knowledge is always power for everyone that reads it.

Feb 25Reply

your_fashions@restlessangel Thank you so much sweetness!!

Feb 25Reply

xapis_styleSo many people don’t understand this one :P Also, didn’t posh used to take a flat rate for $10 and under? Did it change to 15 or has it always been like that?

Mar 08Reply

restlessangel@karisfaith , they have changed shipping several times. I’m not updated since they started the flat rate box shipments. It’s the box that’s ok I think now but same price.. old, need to check.. so don’t quote me on that,,, but it’s still a good “rule of thumb” info. Your more than welcome to screen shot what you’d like off it & use it. I got it from

Mar 08Reply

restlessangel@karisfaith the posh info page about a year and half ago. It’s great to have for our new poshers to read. Some just truly don’t know & would never try to offer a price too low if they knew. Hugs this beautiful AM! Happy Poshing.

Mar 08Reply

restlessangel@sassydiya , this is another post that it would be good for you to screenshot and put up it shows extra shipping charges even though it does need to be updated it still gives the customer a roundabout pricing. Also shows the fees so you don’t get so many lowball offers and it will totally help you out it’s a great reference to both customer and seller

May 18Reply

megabeth33Also sharing. 💐

Jun 03Reply

maryfitzpatr802@megabeth33 Hi, Poshers. I’m very new to this and I honestly have to say I didn’t take any of this into consideration bc I really didn’t know the whole process and how it worked. But, now I will take it all into consideration One thing I didn’t understand is do the buyer or seller pay for the shipping? Thank you so much for sharing.

Jul 03Reply

restlessangel@maryfitzpatr802 , Hello Ma'am. Yes. I put up many little notes here & there for everyone. I know knowledge is power, for everyone. To answer you question, ma'am, We pay for shipping if we offer a discount on Shipping. We have the option to offer $1.50 Off Or $6.49 Cents off. (it went up since this)That comes out of what we get. Other than That, the buyer pays shipping. If you want discounted shipping offers, Always bundle the like to get the best offer. (Never any Pressure to buy)

Aug 26Reply

blankcanvaspm@samsteed just to chime in, sharing really helps! Also, the more people you follow, the larger your feed becomes so it’s actually pretty easy to share things you like. My other thing is sharing from my PFFs (posh BFFs.) I’ve made a few friends with fantastic closets & it’s made Posh all the better! I also haven’t necessarily made money, but I’ve traded for things I’ve really wanted or loved.

Aug 26Reply

blankcanvaspm@samsteed be super careful if you opt to trade though. I am extremely picky about it, as most traders are. I only started actively promoting & increasing my items this year & I’ve ended up doing very well. You can definitely earn. The 1st sale was the hardest, summer months are kinda blah, but I’ve had a major uptick the last few weeks. Hang in! :)

Aug 26Reply

blankcanvaspm@tccmo you know I have somewhat mixed feelings on the 20%. I hate it bc I’m doing all the word in terms of photos, sharing, etc. so aside from developing the platform initially, Posh isn’t heavily staffed, so overhead is low. On the flip, it’s better than consignment/buy outs which are utterly ridiculous many times. Ideally 10% would be better, but still...:/ I’ve had all good experiences as a seller.

Aug 26Reply

restlessangel@msjaygeorge , I agree, 10% would be better since we do the major footwork But, heck it's just one of those things. Much Love & Thank you for passing on the love. xoxox

Aug 26Reply

restlessangel@christinathiem , Go ahead & Copy This too for your Buyers. It will help them & it is also a bit outdated. I've been here since 2014 BUT... It is just the shipping. Shipping is now $6.49 Cents & we get options now. I hope this helps your closet. I will tag you in a few more things that may help. Hugs!

Oct 22Reply

restlessangel@derinda yes ma’am. yes I have gotten very low offers lately and I think it’s all because of that commercial that they put on! I haven’t even be getting 1/2 offs , have been getting $10 on $100 item and things like that and people aren’t taken in consideration that it cost me money for the item.. i’m feeling a little bit let down , to be honest and always anything that I have in here that you can use just grab it.. hugs darling!
