It looks like it has a complete zipper closure (i travel for work and need something that completely zips shut as I've lost too many items with totesβΊ). I'll be honest, it's not for mothers day, but I am flying to MN to see my mom for mothers day/ need a functional carry on. So it's kind of a mother's day gift..lol.
