@jcaspar25 Because the quality isn't going to be the same. VS Pink items are expensive, but they are good quality items that wash well and last a long time. The fakes fall apart and shrink and are a mess very quickly.

@jcaspar25 not cheaper. People are selling real authentic ones for $25-30 next to the real ones on M. Counterfeits promote a lot of negativity to the world. It's against the law and people are without knowing, buying fake replicas, not the same good quality, stain marks, bleeding ink, messed up stitching, no label, from sellers that are not disclosing the fact that they are fake.

The fake sellers are selling the fakes for THE SAME PRICE AS THE REAL THING :/ and people don't know.. There is a seller on here selling fake duffle totes for $55+ that's not cheap. Then the buyers are then selling their fake used blankets to other buyers..

I was sold a fake blanket by pernaqperniq. It wasn't a very good fake either. Had horrible uneven seams all around, & even a hole in the edging binding where the machine completely missed sewing the edge. It eve n had tbe correct ribbon around it! I'm pretty unfamiliar with VS items and was buying it as a gift. I also bought a fake gym bag from her. Both items were described as Victoria's Secret brand. :-( thank goodness for fakepolice, or I'd have never realized it until Christmas. Thank you!!!

@klarissa_rose doesn't look fake too me. She has the tags on all her items.. I read the price tags are hard for China to fake. Her blankets also have the correct bow tie and tag as well :) fake sellers will sell a bunch of the same item (same colors) and I noticed also a lot of cheapy China stuff, necklaces, coach knock offs, etc.. Probably all from the same place!

@zombiechick03 best way would be to compare it to the real thing. Have you recently seen any listings for sale of new with tags ones? If so, Maybe ask for a close up of the stitching on the edges. They may look exactly the same but their quality is cheap plus they still charge you an incredible amount in price. Also, buying replicas mean you support these illegal activities knowingly. It's unfair to those who are believing that they are purchasing a real authentic product who is getting charged a high price for a fake product because it is being advertised as "authentic."

@Betrp922 The only blankets that should come with a ribbon wrapped are the VS edition ones in Black with pink and white detail or Pink with black and white detail. Both in store and online had Victoria's Secret labeled ribbon. Sherpas, bedsets and duvets shouldn't have any ribbon. Any Amazon blanket that says it'll take a month to receive = fake coming from another country, DO NOT BUY!

@capitall636 Candy is fine! She is a just a reseller. You can see she has tags and such on all her items (apparently china copiers can't replicate tags yet??) Hoodies, tees and other items are not "yet" being faked like the blankets, totes,socks, etc are. I HAVE seen a fake bling tee on amazon that was released a year ago for sale recently :( Also ebay has a few 1-2 year old items for sale from hong kong. Stay away from the people who sell a lot of the same products over and over again.

@capitall636 I wanted to add - just because a seller has only one blanket available, doesn't mean its real either. For all you know, it could have been purchased from a fake seller! (I've seen it happen with a fake sherpa blanket!!) Best and only way to assure you get a real one is to find one with a picture of it NWT (it'll have a black band around it with a picture of the blanket on it or ribbon) or New in plastic (it'll have a barcode on it with the colorcode, item number, etc)

I just bought 3 pair of underwear that I know for a fact are knockoff. i have worn cheeky cheekies for 10 plus years now and saw some, NWT, that I had not seen in store or online before and thought they were cute. I should not have to be proving to PM they are FAKE, PM should be having the seller provide the proof they are real. This is so backwards, so be careful buying stuff. All these China websites with hidden links are selling evrything someone needs to make knockoff items. anywhere from the garmet tags, to price tags, to receipts for proof of purchase. it's all up for sale. PM should have better Quality Control over this.

@jcaspar25 it might not be super noticeable at first but part of the reason I’m willing to spend as much as I do on Victoria secret items is because of the quality. The clothing I have from Victoria secret has outlasted all of the clothing from other brands I have. If I’m buying something that’s being advertised as Victoria secret then that’s what I should get.
