@lidbevs Hi! Some sellers list their Levi's by the size written on the Levi's CAD. Because vintage Levi's often don't fit true to their size listed, I always list mine with the size I think that they would work best for in modern sizes. So if you're a size 4 or six, in my closet you would want to look for the Levi's that are listed as size 27 (which is a 4) or 28 (which is a 6)!

@itsmisschelle oh ok! Well it's hard to say what exact size you should look for in Levi's because the vintage sizing can be skewed. I list my Levi's based on the modern size I think they would fit best (and provide measurements). Right now I do have a pair of size 14 jeans listed but if you're a 14/16 they might be too tight. I can keep an eye out and tag you if I list some that would work for ya!

@tashareger Generally a 00 equates to a 24, so a 23 would be even smaller. However, this is just a general "advertisement" listing for my vintage Levi's and other vintage denim. @chelseahudsonn okay. Well none of these Levi's are very fitted in the thigh area so you should be good there. I'd suggest looking for a size 27...it's a 4 in modern sizes. Or else a 28 (aka a 6) which might be a little loose at the waist but will definitely fit your legs.

@ldiest1 The W typically signifies a slightly roomier cut. A 34" waist is going to best fit a 14/16 and if you're curvier in the hips and bum you might want the W. I currently don't have any in those sizes listed but can definitely tag you when I add some if you'd like!

@twilso20 well most vintage denim runs small. So a vintage size 32 waist on the Levi's tag doesn't actually fit a modern size 32. If you're a 10/11 you probably want a vintage size 34.

@tsimpss I would size up one size if you want a looser fit for 501s. Or you could look for 560 or 550 cutoffs which are a more relaxed fit though the hips/thighs, so you could do your usual waist size in those styles. I lost all my vintage Levi’s based on the modern size they will best fit so if you’re looking at my closet you should check out the size 28/29s! I can tag you when I add more shorts if you want. 🤗

@hayhayz I always recommend checking measurements bc vintage Levi’s sizing is different. I list my vintage denim based on the modern size they’d best fit. So in my closet you’d want to look for a 26 (or 27)!

Hello! I figured it would be easier to just message because I couldn’t find what I was looking for. I’m usually a size 31/32 in jeans but I’m looking for a SUPER relaxed pair of high waisted cutoffs. Like I would be happy if they were a size too big. I love the look when they are loose in the leg and have pretty athletic large legs. My pairs of vintage short say woman’s 16 if that helps. Please let me know - thank you!
