nyc_apple @leelu29 If you have a smart phone there are many apps available. These apps allow photo editing, sign design, and a variety of other bits and pieces. If you have an iPhone I can recommend a few apps I have used. If you do not have a smart phone, you can find photos on google based on your word search. Hope this helps.

barriebailey @leelu29 I don't think you are doing anything wrong; I think it just takes time. My only advice would be this: 1) take more pictures of your items. Some only have two. There are 8 spots now and you should try to fill at least 4 of them (one full front/full back/close up of front with label/and whatever other close ups) 2) list some measures like shoulder/chest/length (some people don't like to ask & wont buy unless they know) 3) share your own closet at least once a day. rivergirl35 The things that have worked best fore were to invest in a piece of white foam core. Mine is about 4 feet wide and long, and cost about $10. I find my items show best on all white backgrounds.

rivergirl35 I use the white foam core for flat lays. I try to keep my pics as simple as possible, without additional items in the pic. Initially I was trying to style items, mixing accessories and other items in. But I found things were more likely to sell if the pics simply focused on showing the item for sale.

rivergirl35 Like you, I started adjusting my prices down in hopes of generating sales. But it is really much more important to reach potential buyers in a targeted way.

rivergirl35 I find it helps to search on an item that I am trying to sell. For example, say I have a pair of Prada shoes for sale (I don't, but its fun to think it 😀). 1) I search for Prada shoes using the Shop function on Posh.

rivergirl35 2) Then, I filter by color, size, etc.. to narrow the search. 3) Important: I further narrow the search to sold items by going all the way to the right in the filter and choosing availability and then selecting SOLD.

rivergirl35 4) I go though the listings and follow others who have liked listings similar to mine. If my search is narrow enough, I try to share a few items from the closets of those who have liked items that have sold that are like my active listing.

rivergirl35 The idea is to creative some interaction with Poshers who may be likely to be interested in your item since they liked a similar one that sold.

rivergirl35 I also find it is important to include the brand name, color and size in the title. Yes, that info does get repeated in body of the listing. But it is useful and important to include that basic info in the title as well.

rivergirl35 I also try to avoid flowery adjectives (and that is hard, because I am often emotionally attached to my fashion treasures. But I try to keep the info as objectively descriptive as possible. For example, instead of "beautiful and wonderful satin lining," I would instead say "satin lining is in pristine condition; this satin fabric has a substantial feel."

I just added a pic I like and created a post describing the bundle deal I am offering starting today.

imthedesertdiva @leelu29 Hey Sally! Sorry it took a couple days, I just moved and have been swamped. Your photos look nice and clear, the only suggestion I would make is that indirect natural light is the best! To help increase sales you must share, share, share your listings as much as possible. Also follow as many other active Poshers as you can and post new listings consistently (daily if possible) will help tremendously. Consistency is the key with Poshmark and its algorithm.

rlynmass Hey I got your post. Did you ever check your email? It's from an AOL account. You need to push all the sold items to the bottom & get the listings for sale on top. You do that by sharing the item. There's no easier way to rearrange it. I highly suggest you do that ASAP. People see SOLD & they assume the rest of the items are beyond that point.

rlynmass So you have to think sort of in reverse or upside down. The 3 bottom SOLD listings do not touch. First, share the rest of your sold listings one after the other. This will group them together. Then you share all your active listings one by one. If you so choose, you can share your "Meet the Posher" last so it will be in 1st position on the top row.

rlynmass As you share your active listings it pushes the GROUP of Sold listings towards the bottom. They will then join up with those 3 Sold listings. Capisce? 😉
