Hey! :) I’m Wendy and I’ve always loved fashion and jewelry and PM has allowed me to make money doing what I love! I took a year break to take care of some life things but I’m back and so excited to open a jewelry boutique. I hope you take some time to look around and come back often for new arrivals! I do the "pop of color" @lauras_boutique and "Top shot" and a jeans/pants group @hot_pink_mamas. First you have to sign up under the Q&A so the moderator can approve you. wendyhenley @carmelcouture Hey! :) I've seen both do well together which is what I'm doing. I think either/or (or) both are fine. What matters is that you follow and share like crazy! Lol. And the more listings you have the better! Share from/to the feed often as well as parties. You can also filter an item to sold to see how well it's selling if you see a boutique product you want. Sometimes you won't here back from ppl on a counter and sometimes you will but it's perfectly fine to counter your lowest price you're willing to accept! Hope that helps! :)

jeaneparadis Hi, this is a request for advice. Being new to Poshmark, I try to follow all the rules of etiquette, for example if someone share something of mine, I share theirs and maybe 1 or 2 more. But what should I do if there is one follower that shares 10-12 of my things over and over for days? I don't even have many things in my closet so they are repeats. Then I feel like I have to go back and share all her things again. Can you advise?

The main reason someone shares your items is not bc they want to buy them but to help get your closet more exposure and/or to get you to look at their closet and/or to get you to share their items. I actually share a lot from the main feed when I share so if someone is sharing their own items multiple times then there is a chance I will share their items multiple times if it shows up in my feed. wendyhenley @jeaneparadis Ok you are actually doing good bc you only have over 500 followers! You probably won't make regular sales until you get at least over 5000 followers. So just keep following and sharing and you will get there! If you want to get there sooner rather than later you can follow "active sellers". It's explained somewhere above this comment. That's how I did it anyway. 😊

wendyhenley @spenstair Then click on "my brands" then click any brand...Then, you will see filters at the very top. Click Sort and hit "active sellers", then go over to brand and click "all". Those are the people on Posh right now so a lot of them will follows you back. Most buyers are sellers so keep that in mind. Basically you can't sell unless people see your stuff so you want a lot of followers. And also just share a whole lot but for now I would work on followers.

Not to mention all the new Poshers an Ambassador is supposed to welcome, which I do. Also, do you have people who share 60, 80, even 100 items at a time? This is during parties when, as I mentioned, I was supposed to share twice. I do not feel effective and have considered closing my closet...can you offer any wisdom?

But I do have a lot more followers so that definitely helps. I rarely share when people follow me. I would think hats taking up a lot of time. wendyhenley You can find out all about it at @gainfollowers. You need a lot more followers to get you items out there and playing that game will increase that DRAMATICALLY! It can be a little confusing at first so if you don't understand let me know. That is truly my best advice at this point. Keep adding to your closet, playing the SP games daily, and share from a computer or tablet to get more "bang for your buck". Try it this week and let me know how it goes! ☺️

wendyhenley @jeaneparadis I would stop the sharing follows and new posters for now. I rarely ever do that and my sales are consistent. Just try the share group I mentioned and more importantly do the SP game. I'm telling you-you will not regret it! I've literally gotten 25,000 followers since doing that game in August-I'm not even joking! I never share bulgar or obscene things. You definitely don't have to compromise to do well here! ☺️

wendyhenley @jeaneparadis No you just go to the picks of the day. There will be a SP, BSP, BSP, and Revisit listed. It looks different than all the other comments. It was posted about 16 hours ago so scroll up until you find that one. Go to their closet and at the top you'll see Listings, Shares, Followers, and Following. Just click on their followers and click all the blue buttons. It only a takes a few minutes and actually the more you do the better. You will get a ton of followers, I promise!

jeaneparadis So, Wendy, I’ve just answered 100s of shares and many many more “follows”. There are so many of them that don’t add a share.. do you just let them go without going in and sharing? I have just been ignoring them, focusing on those Poshers who actually share. I’m getting 500 hits at a time but relatively small proportion of shares so I just share back to the. Yes...538 overnight , then another 600 or so while I was at work. I did sell one item though! Thank you for all the exposure!

cupucca @wendyhenley hi! I am having an issue with a buyer, what should I do? She got a great deal on a bundle of items, she said that one of items, the stitching is coming apart. I made the mistake of also selling her more items off Poshmark (1st last and only time I’ll do that) I offered her $5 and she won’t accept the package ($44 to me) vs the $5 I owe her. I’m 100% sure the item wasn’t damaged. What do I do??

wendyhenley @cupucca Hey! :) She'll need to either accept the item or file a case with PM. If she doesn't then the money will be released to you within a few days. If she files a case and they approve a return, they will have to return all the items. So just leave it up to her. If she doesn't want to accept she need to file a case and let PM handle it. Does that make sense?

wendyhenley @anniky Hey! ☺️ Thank you! I just use my iPhone and take them during the day on either my living room wall or deck. Sunlight is really the best last lighting so I have a place on the wall by our sliding glass door that I take the pictures.
