alyssw12 @afgirlie729 yeah, seriously! Most intense experience ever! 2 of 3 were completely natural, no pain meds. Aw if you lived in CO I'd make you go with me 😉😉 its SO hard to get the motivation but you quickly start to love it! Especially when you start seeing results! When is your wedding?

afgirlie729 @alyssw12 oh wow i give you props on no meds! I was induced at 30wks and did push him out but he was a 3lb peanut which still hurt hah but i cant imagine more....sad huh. And id totally go with you!! My fiance would LOVE to move to CO or oregon or seattle i just cant leave my family and any little help we do get! We were supposed to get married this oct but too much going on w him going back to work my pain so sometime next fall

alyssw12 @afgirlie729 not sad at all! I was induced with my first, too. Which they say makes the contractions even more painful. Got an epidural with that one. But I decided I wanted to try without for my daughter, I did a water birth. Hurt SO FREAKIN BAD!! Haha. Wasn't planning on a third and it took me FOREVER to decide if I wanted to go natural again or not. In the end I decided to because recovery was better. Why so early? Did you have a complicated pregnancy? Was he in NICU for awhile?

afgirlie729 @alyssw12 omg! Note to self no water births with no meds haha. I had pre-eclampsia and went into something called HELLP syndrome when they induced me so my blood pressure was crazy high and my liver started to shut down and i was having fluid filling up in my lungs. He was in the NICU for 48 long days. It was very rough on us. Hes doing fantastic now all caught up weight wise and a little short but otherwise fine. Gets speech therapy 3x a month

afgirlie729 @alyssw12 hehe not that long together i think they say 10yrs for that but not sure CT honors that anymore. But yeah def excited to have a nice celebration and wear my pretty dress heh. We have been through soooo very much as a couple so we are due for a party with good food and friends :)

afgirlie729 @alyssw12 oh wow it is!?!? Nice! Reason to move there haha! But yeah i love weddings too, so fun! We are doing super low key super small and a dinner in a private room at a nice restaurant afterwards. We are both pretty shy and quiet and honestly i just want immediate family and close friends. No craziness intimate and sweet. Plus these days who has money for a crazy big wedding anyways its such a ripoff even what super small costs!

starcat Haha I'm being nosey... I had no idea you had a water birth with your daughter?!?! I did with mine too and had waaaayyy less pain than I did with my son and I had an epidural for him. Waterbirth was a godsend for me.

alyssw12 @starcat oh my gosh, you did?!?! We are total twinsies 👯 haha. I'm not sure if there was less pain to be honest.. It hurt SO BAD. The contractions (with my 2nd) were painful but I got through them fine! It was the pushing that killed me

starcat I was so lucky because my son was posterior so I labored for 21 hours and pushed for 2, but my daughter was less than 9 hours and 20 minutes of pushing. She slid right on out! And I only cursed once 🙊🙊🙊 lol The contractions weren't even bad for me, way less pain than back labor. And I was only at the birthing center for a total of 1.5 hours including having her and getting cleaned up before leaving.

alyssw12 @starcat oh yeah I was lucky too! All mine were super fast. With my first labor was 8 hours and I pushed for 15-20 min. My second was 6 hours of labor and 10 min of pushing, and Theo was 4.5 hours of labor and like 2 seconds of pushing lol. Was supposed to have a water birth with him too but ended up standing! All three were different!

starcat I was literally falling asleep with my son lol He was born around 2 am and I was exhausted!!! Since he was facing the wrong way his head wouldn't come down, so 20 minutes was nothing for me lol My friend just had a baby and she pushed for 4 hours 😱😱😱because his head got stuck
