milazinhaHi lovely - are you interested in trading at all? I have many great items in my closet, lots of it new. I am looking for a pendant in an acqua / translucent green, similar to fluorite or chalcedony (but not necessarily these). Preferably smooth and not faceted. Very clear, clean, glassy. Medium to large. Do you have anything like that?

jinkiesscooby@milazinha here is my gemstone enthusiast (I'm not a professional at it.. but I study quite a bit) opinion: you are on the right track with fluorite for sure! I have some AWESOME fluorite stones. Next I would suggest prasiolite (green amethyst) or prehnite. Up next (but of higher value and therefore having a larger price) would be apatite, chrysoprase, and chrysoberyl. After that, tourmaline, and hiddenite. Maybe even opal.

jinkiesscooby@milazinha I don't recommend chalcedony (most are dyed - not natural). Chalcedony's natural color is a very blah blue. Another thing to consider (if your budget is tight) is lab sapphire. Comes in any color you can think of. Most people don't know that lab sapphire and natural sapphire are at the molecular level the EXACT SAME THING. You'll get a better looking stone for way way way way less than natural. But if you're after a natural stone, those I listed above would be the best bet.
