Exquisite Antique large puffy heart locket - repousse raised scrolling design- stamped STERLING on inside rim- originally used as a match safe, this is called a Vesta Case and was worn on a Chatelaine to carry short matches for fire- from late 1800s to early 1900s - in great condition with original darkened patina- an heirloom quality piece -from a smoke free home (pendant only, no chain)
