I don't think the length of it will be an issue. I gave my daughter a medium and she is about the same height. It definitely has some room in it but still looks great. I don't think the medium would be a huge difference between the small, they are pretty close to the same, but I can always let you know when I place another order for the olive ones if you would like to do that?
