niknak013 @vivacouture I'm definitely not liking the drive with the traffic in the morning it takes a 40 mins to get there... So we have to wake up even earlier. Aiden (like me lol) hates to be woken up so its hard to get him motivated.

With faith everything is more tricky especially since she sleeps later in the morning and doesn't fall asleep in the car ... I am nervous about the drive also !!!

niknak013 @vivacouture has Evan school started yet? The school district changed it this year, school yo used to start the 1st wk of sept. Now it's aug. How long did you say the drive would be an hour? It's definitely not easy. I try to having set out the night before, like clothes, lunches, backpacks ect.

niknak013 It's also challenging to get get them to eat breakfast when they first wake up and are not used to eating at 630. Every morning is s whirl wind. I hoping in the next week or two a routine is established so everything isn't so chaotic. Fortunately, the boys love school. They were talking a mile a minute when I picked them up, which makes me especially after seeing some the kids latching on to their parents crying. I don't think I would've been able to handle that.

niknak013 My mom has been helping out slot. If I'm running late she picks them up or even in not she'll still go and wait with them so she can hear about their day. Aiden had a bit of cold on Friday so I was hesitant to send him sti school since it was his first week but I kept him home bc with all the germs I didn't want him to feel worse. So, my mom picked up Liam that day. Back to school night was 8/11 &my mom went to Liam's class while I went to Aiden, so it works out great.

niknak013 I'm not really liking Liam's teacher. Liam had an accident last week& I kinda blame her bc she says snack time& recess is when they should be using the restroom, not whenever they want/need to.I guess she doesn't understand that @ 4 they don't have complete bladder control in terms of holding it. So, when I called the school they said I couldn't talk to the teacher bc they couldn't interrupt her class. Needless to say I was quite irritated.

In other schools too now and which was not going to work for me ! Kids need to use the bathroom when they have to use the bathroom !! I don't know what has happened to the system that they allow this only recess and lunch time use of bathroom especially for young children !!!

vivacouture @niknak013 Evan is a 45 minute to one hour drive too . I am renting a place the first few days to be close to there for the transition . After we will just have to see how it goes . Before we pack up and move I want to make sure I like the teachers and that as a private school it is what we think it was through the tours etc ... Let's see what Evan will tell me !! Driving with faith will be hard I just have to take it one day at a time too ! And so wonderful you have your mom so close to help

niknak013 Aiden had clothes In his bag so I called my mother in law, who teaches there, & she took care of it. On Friday my mom picked up Liam &the teacher said he'd been crying since lunch &was limping but apparently didn't think that warranted a call to me. Seeing as she can tell something is hurting him. He told me his shoes were too tight &when I took them off the were red and swollen &a little blister was forming. Which really upset me bc she should've called me.

niknak013 @vivacouture that's great that. Your renting a house for the first lite while, since it such s big transition. Does Faith not like being in the car at all. I just found out about the bathroom policy @ back to school night last week. I think it's just her personal policy. So I'm definitely going to have to talk to someone. That's unexceptable for children at such a young age. Aiden is in kindergarten and he just has to ask and can go.

vivacouture @niknak013 I would try to feed her before we drive but she gets up later than we need do be in the car and also sometimes either won't right when I try or would nurse for 20 minutes .. So it's unpredictable still ! And then when she sits in car seat sometimes will make her poo and then another change and feed session as her belly is empty !! I will be trying different things !

And in the baby carrier that I wear ! I know it all will change as her development needs but I am still nervous when I think about the drive time ... I hope you have a better week love !!
