stylechasers @clea22 Hi Christy. Thank you for pointing this out. Yes, it does open!!! It's easy to open when sliding the chain off first. It's not so easy to open when wearing it. I'm not sure what makes the inside blue faux stone glow in the dark. It's a beautiful piece!!!

stylechasers @katynug Hi! The necklace does not have a battery. The inside composition picks up and retains light. Simply put it under a lamp or bright light for a few hours before wearing. It glows throughout the evening. It does not appear in lighted rooms (it’s gorgeous anyway), but looks beautiful outside at night or in darker places like movies, nightclubs, or Halloween.
